Creepy must be older than he looks, because as a rule, old, fat, white, retired men usually watch that alternative fact based program. I know this because of witnessing them in boxer shorts as they are seated at TV trays, (doubling as shit shields) screaming at their favorite talking heads while I have been present in the room. Disturbing, doesn’t even come close to describing the insanity.

More than likely, although Nixon tried it, i.e., Saturday Night Massacre, and failed, whereas the current president has nearly the full support of the Republican House & Senate.
The US is now the laughing stock of the developed world because of the spineless Republican Party. However, the Democratic Party shares some of the blame for their lack of cohesion. November's midterm election will determine America's future path.

House Speaker Paul Ryan urges Trump to reverse himself on planned tariffs

I think its worth noting that this was a very out of the blue Trump "decision" that caught everyone in the administration by surprise and came as a Trump 4:30 Tweet.

This was shortly after the resignation of Hope Hicks and the stories coming out that Jarred Kushner may have his security clearance pulled.

Trump allegedly went into a hissy fit and had to be calmed down.

I understand that they had a hard time finding his pacifier.

When Mueller starts seriously squeezing baby Donald before the spanking... someone should sneak the nuclear football out of the crib.

Y'know, I understand that the Trump spectacle is too tantalizing to resist - it's like watching a car crash happen right before your eyes. But Trump isn't the problem - Trump is only a symptom of the problem.

This is the actual problem: both political parties are now completely corrupted and solely serving the interests of the corporate/billionaire campaign donor class. And absolutely nothing less than a massive national political revolution has any hope of remedying that problem once and for all. So either we do that, or sooner or later we're going to have something akin to the French Revolution, but a whole lot bloodier.

I think a big part of the problem is apathy and lack of social involvement... sometimes it takes a car crash to shake off the leaches (NRA...etc) and reboot well built democratic system.

I can't disagree with you Thomas and its this autumn when the Blue party takes control of the Senate mostly because of the number of Republican bowing out ( the timing is telling and probably understandable) I /(We) will likely will have fresh meat to pounce on...and will somebody please address our antiquated and crumbling national infrastructure, not just pay it lip service !

In the meanwhile, the sitting there, looking like hot $!!+ in your Park Avenue comb - over isn't cutting it Donald nor is your hairdresser, buy a rug!

Where I live it took a few highway overpass failures and lives lost before any action was taken. Constructs that were supposed to last 100 years.... well it's like a roof with a 30 year warranty lol.. if it lasts for 20 you're blessed.

On the Republican party... it needs to redefine itself around a semblance of decency. That radical right hardcore base is a few goose steps short of SA brownshirts.
I remember Ronald Reagan who also came from the entertainment industry. I'm convinced he wouldn't recognize his own party in 2018 and like McCain certainly wouldn't be shy about dishing out expletives on shin splint Trump.

...Sunday’s announcement came just hours after Trump used Twitter to push back against reports that he’s having difficulty adding to his legal team, saying he was “very happy” with his current attorneys.

Many lawyers and top law firms want to represent me in the Russia case
,” he wrote, adding: “Fame & fortune will NEVER be turned down by a lawyer, though some are conflicted.”

I think the sticky wicket is the all the firms they're talking too want the $$$ up front

Donald is as slippery as a greased pig in August. It’ll be interesting if the porn queen’s attorney releases the contents of the mysterious CD. Then again, we may not want to know about spankings, whippings, beatings, golden showers, and other unbecoming personality traits of this unsavory leader.

I suspect this is a mild taste of what Putin is about to vomit about Trump... the perfect candidate for manipulation by an ex-KGB operative.

Beyond the pale... how this sordid chess game turns out will be the end-all reality TV horror show. By now Mueller probably has enough solid info to impeach the guy 1000 times... maybe he wants the press to crucify Trump ?... or maybe he wants the whole corrupted cast around Trump behind bars ?
What the f.

Since the U.S. presidential election, there has been heightened chatter in the prospect of a nuclear exchange between various superpowers. As the Doomsday Clock ticks toward midnight, thought I’d check out the odds of S.R.L. surviving a nuclear exchange.

After typing in my address, this detailed interactive map informed me there would be both bad & good news. The bad; S.R.L. would cease to exist, the good; S.R.L. would vaporize instantaneously.

See what your neighborhood would look like if a nuclear bomb hit it
