They tried to make it sound almost as though Senator Obama was the leader of ACORN.

Can we agree that, certainly, Senator McCain's links to and responsibility for the current state of the nation, both financially and with respect to the so-called "war on terror" are FAR more viable than any such links between Senator Obama and ACORN?

Personally, if I can't have Congressman Paul in the White House then I'll settle for Senator Obama rather than allowing the dark side/elite to remain in power. God forbid, if they did I'd take to wearing tin foil and keep my butt lubed at all times since I KNOW I'd be regularly and vigorously screwed by them.

Hey great show, guys!

You all brought up some REALLY good points about WHY maybe disclosure can't/doesn't happen!

Loved the part about how MAYBE the government doesn't even KNOW how what they may have, WORKS, ya know?
And of course, they wouldn't want to disclose anything to the world until they UNDERSTOOD it all.

This opens up a whole new set of questions, too. I could go on and on talking about stuff like this!! :)

Also agree with how difficult it can be to separate the wheat from the chaff in terms of serious people with serious stories,
not just those who want to flaunt themselves, lie, etc just to get their fifteen minutes of fame. This can go both ways, too. It can be hard to find a good show for one to want to share their story on.

Glad The Paracast is one of those shows that gives us interesting information!

I hope you do more shows like this one!

ACORN gets 40% of it's funding FROM THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER. They do nothing but register socialist democrats.

NO organization that takes money from the American Taxpayer should be partisan.

PERIOD.

I personally would like to see all the traitors to this nation rounded up en masse and deported to their communist country of choice.

1) Of course, YOU get to define traitor, right?

2) Cite your stats, please. They are pointless without them. Parroting FOX News does not make truth.

3) Voter registration is just that, registering voters properly so that they will not get turned away on election day. Only a fascist wants LESS people at the polls. 8) True dat.

4) Yeah. What groups and people have I heard talk in the past about mass deportation of extinction of those who disagree with them? Hmmm. Let's see.

Thanks for illuminating your true being. Now I know. No we all know.

They tried to make it sound almost as though Senator Obama was the leader of ACORN.

I recall reading that Acorn employees were paid based on how many people they got to register, so several of the employees wrote thousands of names like 'Mickey Mouse' over and over, but they were fired and that should be the 'rest of the story'.

How this relates to Obama being a bad candidate is a bit of stretch. But I will say this.............. there are certain things about Obama that do show a question on judgement, the land deal with the felon is sketchy and his former minister being a radical isn't a positive either.

That said, I did vote for him and will vote for him again tomorrow. I think he has great potential, his ability to communicate and listen to people is better than anyone I can remember in recent years and for the most part I agree with his politics, but............ it doesn't appear he has had the chance or really attempted to make his mark in the Senate with any 'tough' critical decisions, so he is a big question mark. I think from what I've read he has been extremely calculated ever since he got in the Senate with his eye on the prize. He has run an amazing campaign really.

McCain on the other hand has shown himself IMO to be a very impulsive emotional guy which is good in some contexts (heavy metal band, TV personality, actor...) but not for the leader of a country. You need someone who is emotionally balanced and will listen to all points of view and make the best decision for the entire country instead of deciding on a whim or gut feeling.
:)

What the neo-cons forget is that Acorn usually reports the phony and the real registrations in its reports submitted to a state elections agency. That's where the neo-cons get the information. The fraud hasn't been committed, because Acorn discovered that fraud.

Slight possible correction of something I posted here. I have the audio book the Power of Positive thinking (or something like that) by the same guy as Think and Grow Rich. I think I MAY have think and grow rich. If I do, I only listened to it once if that.

Ok, I haven't listened to the whole show yet, but I don't really think Mr. Beckley is dragging it down. I will comment again after completing the show.

Beckley is essentially everything that is wrong about this field - he's not really interested in determining what the heck is going on, he seems motivated solely by how he can make a few bucks peddling crap to folks who deserve better. He's all about the sensationalism, about pumping up stuff that's meaningless, and for my money, he's got zero credibility.

He's also downright creepy. Now that I've actually interacted with him in person, I'm horrified. Jeremy, myself, Beckley and a woman friend of his went out to dinner during Jeremy's event, and I'll tell you, it took every ounce of restraint for me not to leap across the table and slap his ugly mug. I think he's sleazy beyond words, and I really don't want his name associated with this show.

OK I understand now. Meeting him in person has obviously given you much deeper insight into the guy.

Listening to the show I got the impression (which could have been wrong) that he was a UFO enthusiast/researcher that has been around for a while, and thus has had some of his interest and motivation diminish.

as i listened to the epidode i detected a note of hostility towards Mr Beckley, and at one point i thought this guy sounds a bit like Ms Harris in his reasoning. i thought to myself why are they not reacting to this the same way as they did to Ms Harris ?

now of course hes copping a flogging here, perhaps rightly so.

but i have to ask, if thats how you feel, why have him on the show in the first place, if you dont want him associated with the show, why did you allow it ?
it just seems a little strange to see someone in full control of the situation and events, be so obviously unhappy with the results.

Ask Gene. Until I personally met him, I was tolerant of his "participation" (though the truth is, as far as I know, he's done nothing for the show), but after interacting with him, I don't want my good name associated with him. It's that simple.

His nasal delivery makes my skin crawl. He is by far your worst guest ever. Just a shill.

i can understand you feeling that way, been there myself. i have even used that same principle on my own family

i cant help but feel bad for Mr Steinberg, it looks like he has to choose between someone hes known a long long long time, and someone he obviously values highly enough to work with every week.

i dont imagine thats an easy place to be.

What were some of the things he said that made you think he was creepy?
