Week 33 Dark Matters Radio

Dark Matters Radio Archives
Welcome back to Week 33 of DMR! First, some information. If you were tuned into DMR on Friday August 27, you will have noted we went off the air just about 20 minutes prior to the end of the show. What happened was a power outage. These kinds of things do happen .. and I had no control over it. All I can say is … Oh Crap!
This week on DMR we started out with a best of show that featured the enigmatic Robert Lazar and Gene Huff on August 30. This is one of those UFO/WTF stories that never really go away. I was there at the dawn of this story and even now, after all that time, I must admit that there are parts of the Lazar saga that still have me mystified. Oh well …
Tues. August 31 I will be hosting Mr. Norio Hayakawa.
Norio Hayakawa

Norio’s involvement into the west coast UFO scene goes all the way back to the 1980′s and is connected with the Area 51 story. Norio Hayakawa was a former director of the Civilian Intelligence Network. Now a defunct group, the Civilian Intelligence Network was, at one time, a loosely-knit network of investigative researchers and intelligence gatherers who primary focus for the past two decades (i.e., from 1988 to 2008) was on the government’s operation location near Groom Lake, Nevada, commonly known as Area 51. CIN was initially established in 1988 as a civilian watchdog group, or oversight “committee” on the government’s various Black Projects programs. The past decade, however, has seen the growth of other larger, well-organized and funded citizens’ groups such as the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) who activities have had major impact on government accountability on relevant issues such as environmental issues. Thus the role of smaller groups such as CIN was minimalized. He now supports the Federation of American Scientists (FAS).
Norio Hayakawa had the privilege of seeing with his own eyes this amazing research, development and test base several times from both the White Sides and the Freedom Ridge during the early 1990′s when those nearby hills were not closed off to the public (because the government at that time was not aware that the base could be seen from those hilltops). Although he has retired from his many years of Area 51 research and investigations, he still tries to keep up with the latest information on this significant base. However, his main focus now is getting to the bottom of the rumors behind the alleged existence of a joint government/alien underground bio-lab in Dulce, New Mexico.

Weds. September 01 on DMR I am having back on the show Ms. Rebecca Fearing. Rebecca was a guest at the start of DMR on CyberstationUSA and is one very gifted psychic!
Rebecca hosts her own radio talk program on Weds. evenings, Dancing With Ghosts and I must tell you (and it surprised the hell out of me) she astounds me each and every time I speak to her. She is willing to take calls on the air and when you speak to her, I feel very confident she will astound you!
Thu. – Friday TBA
Keep your eyes pointed up and your ear to the ground!

The Norio show highlights why I like your show so much Don. It is like taking a ufology history class. I enjoyed this show immensely. Thanks so much.

Last nite I had Rebecca Fearing on DMR. Each and every time I talk to her I am amazed. Let me suggest to you all that you might want to catch this episode of DMR. The show will be up later today and is worth a listen. FWIW.

Great show Don. She's a fascinating lady there is no doubt about it!! For anyone who hasn't heard the show take the time to listen, you will not be disappointed.

She demonstrated her ability during the show, which added further credibility to her story. I personally believe she has Psychic ability, is she seeing and communicating with people that have passed on and now are in the afterlife. I'm not sure?

However she convinced me to keep an open mind and not be closed to the possibility.

Wouldn't that just be a bitch. You live your life the best you can, you suffer through life's tests and trails, you get old, hurt like hell most of the time, finally get to lay down and get some rest and BANG! you wake up in some freaking afterlife where you have to haunt someone's dingy living room or something. What a total disappointment. Or worse yet in the case of reincarnation, you are REBORN as a democrat or a street orphan or something. Oh ... thanks a lot great cosmic whatsit! Yeah. I'm placing my bets and druthers on some eternal rest myself.

It was interesting however I remain very, very skeptical of psychics. (spelling?)

Perhaps when I mentioned Dave Torreli, is it possible that she looked up Micheal Younger's (radio name) in advance or picked up on it somehow? I don't know, I would never suggest she did unless I was 100% sure.

Hey all .. thanks to those that heard the R. Fearing show.

There aren't many that are more skeptical than I am when it comes to those claiming psychic ability ... but I am 100 % convinced that this lady has that ability. She privately demonstrated to me that somehow she zeroed in on something privately known only to me and my mom who passed away back in 1990. Not even my wife was aware of this .. so for what it is worth .. I am convinced.

Just saying.

But I was under the impression this was the first time she ever heard of Michael Younger. Richard phoned into the show, and asked her, about him. So how would she have known.

Richard would ask that specific question out of the millions of other questions he could have asked? Plus out of all the names she could have said she picked David or Dave!!

Realistically, the only other way she could have known, is if she taken the time to listen to that show, and that we will never know with any certainty.

Trainedobserver* I personally hope there is an Afterlife wouldn't life just be a pointless exercise without it? We contribute to society for how ever long we live, but what is the point of our being, if we cease to be remembered or just forgotten after we die!!

My Children's children will never know who I was and that would sadden me, of course, If your correct I be dead and be no longer self- aware, But I believe the majority would hope to live on, and not be over time nothing more that Bones!!

I've heard that before and it makes no sense whatsoever to me. No, this being the only life you will ever have makes this life richer and vastly more important and significant.

We contribute to society for how ever long we live, but what is the point of our being, if we cease to be remembered or just forgotten after we die!!

Again, that makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. What difference would it make? None. The inability of people to accept the harsh reality of life and death has created the many and varied afterlife myths that humanity has created.

Why? Who would? The many street orphans of Haiti, India, and Washington D.C.? What about the chronically ill, or the thousands of people who lie in their own filth everyday dependent on others for every body function? Those guys want to come back to that or worse? Fantasizing about "heaven" or whatever is just wishful thinking. By all appearances you get one trip on this ride and you're done. It should motivate one to make good use of your time.

Well what I can say your have your view I have mine someday that day will come. If there is afterlife and you get there? Just tell whoever is in charge I'm not happy put me back into my box.

Well the lady on the show said they eat good so I think I'd at least check out the buffet. Unfortunately it sounds like there won't be a open bar or a smoking room available though. What a crock.

I'm listening to this now, but I'm in a real struggle to remain plugged in. This kind of thing (spiritualism) really grates on my nerves for a bunch of reasons. I should get a Dark Matters no-prize if I make it though. :p Also, if what she said about having vices is true I must have a battalion of dumb dead #$%&s following me around mumbling my name! What about you Don?

What are the names of the books that Micheal Younger wrote? I got a tremendous belly laugh out of Rich's "I was wondering what he was doing."

Well, if you boys find this too much to listen to ... I may have the solution.

Don't Freaken' Listen ....

So you would only like to hear positive comments about your guests then? Don, she's a con artist. I'm sorry that you were fooled by her. I'm quite certain that a mentalist like Brown would tear her apart. She's probably one of those psychics that lose their powers around magicians and mentalists.

This is a serious question. If there is an afterlife where people hang around living people they knew in life as she describes or where you follow around vice-ridden humans (like the dead gang member mentioned) where does the "past life" or next reincarnation thing come in? You do time as a haunt for awhile or something then you get reborn to have yet another life? See what I'm saying? There seems to be a conflict in the two models. Does anyone else see what I'm getting at?

Ok, just finished the show! I'd have to say I would really like to hear her back on the show Don. Good show like always.

Another serious question. This one is for Rebecca when she returns to the show. She states that she has looked into the "blue eyes of Jesus." Jesus was perhaps the most "pure-bred" Jew in the world was he not? His supposed lineage is recorded in the Bible. Everything I have read about the people in the region at that time says he would have had brown hair, brown eyes, and olive skin. What's the explaination for a blue-eyed Jesus?

Angelo, just htf would you know that I was fooled by her or she is a con artist? You know, its skeptics and debunkers like you that give me a major pain in the arse. I have exposed more bull shit artists ... in the pages of UFO Magazine and on the air than you have left debunking posts here on the Paracast. Until you had first hand experience with Rebecca Fearing, not some horse shit that the "Amusing Randi" spewed ... then you and I can talk about her.

Was she 100% on all the time? No, but then .. she is human. You a 100% on all the time? I really doubt it. But Amigo, be damned careful about making those absolute pronoucements ... they do have a habit of coming back and biting you in the ass.

About Derren Brown loved that show, it was amazing, especially guessing the right amount of money in peoples wallets on the street, then i realized 99+% of the time that Derren guesses wrong that stuff goes on the " on the cutting room floor ". The other stuff is amazing on forcing people to see money when its not there, etc.

Don, she's a con artist.

woah woah slow down their you cannot say that with any conviction. I hope your not thinking, psychics can't exist therefore she is not one, that would be a fundamentally flawed way to perceive the world. I'm really sour on the idea of "psychics" but i would never close my mind that one could exist. That i might of even talked to one that night. Saying she's a con artist first your saying she just making stuff up, second that she's profiting from it deliberately knowing she's telling falsehoods to make herself money, i fail to see how see made any money from me that night.

I found her description of driving into a parallel reality thew most intriguing part of the whole interview. I found her an honest and sincere guest, who had some very interesting and thought provoking ideas.

I don't claim to be a psychic, so I don't have to be right. The fun thing about psychics is that we remember the hits and forget the misses. I have seen too many people get conned by so-called psychics, so I'm sorry Don, but they make me angry. I wish I could believe that she is a psychic. Unfortunately I can't take people like that at face value. I'd love to see her work on someone that practices what she does but doesn't claim to be a psychic, such as Derren Brown or Banachek. Now that would be interesting. If she could read them, then that would pique my interest. Until then I will remain skeptical of psychics.

I'd love to ask her why she hasn't shut people like me up by proving herself to a mentalist.
I have no doubt that she appeared honest and sincere, that's part of being a psychic. Maybe one day I'll be proven wrong and it will bite me in the ass. When that happens I won't feel so bad because we'll have made a huge discovery into the workings of the human mind.

Also, what trainedobserver said about her looking into the eyes blue of Jesus - well' he's totally right.
