Paranormally Disenchanted
I thought this was an interesting video in that it portrays the often reported UFO that explodes in a flash and or drops or drips glowing objects to the ground.

Disclaimer: I do not know anything about this video, the people who produced it, or its truthfulness.

Sorry mate. I was being sarcastic. Someone had said that all of these vids could be explained way by use of "flares". This one actually looks computer generated.

oh i get it.. i don't know about being computer generated however.. it sure eludes my trained eyes, perhaps if I could get a hold of the file.

It does look fake. Unfortunately, it's really hard to tell due to how highly compressed it is. If it is real, all I can say is wow. That's like nothing I have ever seen.

Angelo, what can I say? It does not look like a fake to me. And there are a lot of reasons why. Like I've been saying, if this is all a hoax, it's a doozie.

Totally agree Phil.

It does not look like a fake to me
Really? Not trying to be smart or clever but thats all done with adobe after effects. Check out this guys demo...

Try the demo for your self, it's pretty cool. http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/

I used it at University doing a communication and new media subject. It takes practice to get to the level/quality in the video you posted but its possible. There are some cool tutorials here www.videocopilot.net/tutorials

You can think it's real if you want to. I'm still convinced that we are going to be seeing a lot of these videos coming out on youtube as we get closer to the release of The Battle of Los Angeles.

Let me ask you a question - has there ever been a time when you thought a UFO video was real and then it was proven otherwise?

Agree so much BS videos out there which just marketing campaigns agenda for doc, movies or just plan BS. Rather follow radar reports, eyewitness especial military or civil pilots etc , military photos from the 40s-50s, Timothy Goods Book Above Top Secret and another just recently released on Kindle Unearthly Disclosure it has footnotes!:)

Thanks alzo! I would say this was a skilled individual!
I went back and reviewed the video again and noticed there was one frame where I could see a distinct and sharp outline of the crafts bottom right triangle. It wouldn't/couldn't be sharp like that if it was real. There would be diffusion from light reflection.

Thanks again.

I wager the thing is a fake myself. The interesting thing to me was that it was showing something that has been described in several UFO reports in the past but rarely gets videos made (whether that is faked, hoaxed, or actually captured) of it.

Further regarding all this, I found a very interesting comment left by an individual on the Discovery News article re the Jerusalem videos. I reproduced it in the 'New Utah footage' thread. It's a little long, so I won't repeat it here. Note the claim at the end of the comment.

Yes, I agree, CGI can generate practically anything on the screen. Actually, you don't even have to quote videos like this as examples. A far better example is your favorite modern science fiction movie.
That's not the point. I think more important points are that to this time, all attempts at debunks have been circumspect and qualitative. Any quantitative attempts have, in my view, failed.
To achieve this level of consistent CGI effects, all with consistent elements, across several videos would require a high degree of sustained effort; not likely the output of one person.
Geographically, these videos require, literally, a worldwide conspiracy.
People, using real names, claim to have indirect, 3rd hand, eye-witness accounts.
There's more, but it's enough to chew on for now.

hmmmm, well , ..... the car stops and the videographer gets out of the car and then zooms in on the cloud. However did anyone notice that absolutely nothing is going on near the cloud at the time?? There is no object at all when they first zoom in on it. Why then are they stopping the car and getting out?? Did they have a premonition that something was going to happen or did they "make it happen"?? That's my first impression.

It's a neat video, but I certainly have to wonder about the authenticity of it. It seemed pretty bright when the stuff was falling, I'm guessing bright enough to make maybe one the many passing cars notice it??

I guess it's the usual:
Is the video fake??
Where are any other witnesses??
Who are these people that filmed it??
Where is the original footage??
Etc, etc, etc.

Anything else to go on here?? If not that should again be a clue as to what the real skinny is on this one. And I also think that unless you are some video expert (and maybe not even an expert) you don't know how easy it is to create effects in videos that look good. Is it really that hard?? Is it so difficult that a video by itself like this deserves to be touted as a real UFO??

Look at the Haiti video that still shows up in any UFO search. If the creator had not come forward to claim responsibility for it, people would still be hailing this as the mecca of UFO hotspots. And he created it on a whim in part of one day. In other words easily. So why would making this Brazil video be any more difficult?? It's not nearly as detailed. It's not nearly as cool. So, in a day where people can create a good looking hoaxed video in a matter of a couple of hours, why are we to take them as potential fact without accompanying corroborating evidence?? I think the answer to that is just "you can't".

As an illustrator and visual person (not in the visual effects arena) I understand that it does take skill and understanding of the physics of how things fall and move in space/time, visual distortion, light etc. to make things seem real. So though it may have taken someone 1/2 a day to do, it took them years of acquiring visual knowledge and observation to pull it off.. Not to mention the hours upon hours they had to put into learning the software.
Give they guy some credit!

From the video, it's obvious, to me, that they've seen an object of interest before the video has started. They then pull off to the side of the road and start to try to search for and locate the object with their video camera.
