UFO Crashes: How come so many UFO's crashes ? 'Their' tech...
How true.
I can't pinpoint exactly when, but I even remember Stanton correcting a caller on a talk show once that addressed him as "Doctor" -- he was quick to point out that he was not a doctor.
He really, really, is a nuts and bolts guy -- UFO's are interplanetary/intergalactic vehicles that carry extraterrestrials to earth. Period.
You know, in a way, that is kind of refreshing. He has a theory, he researches the hell out of it and sticks to it. Good for him.
On top of that, I think he is a masterful speaker. The guy just keeps my interest, every time I hear him, even if he is re-hashing old stories and information. I really enjoy listening to him.
Back in the 1970's I was a young boy living in Pensacola. The Pascagoula abduction had just happened, not too far away. Many speakers were making the circuit in the area (UFOs were hot), and I remember seeing two -- my father took me. One was Professor Carr. The other I want to say was Stanton, but it may have been Hynek. I just can't remember.
However, I can almost swear I remember the second speaker asking in his presentation near the end how many people in the room had seen a UFO, then asking did they report that UFO. I think that is a common tactic that Stanton uses, so it was probably him.
Actually, Friedman has a Masters in Nuclear Engineering, not a PhD. He has never actually over-stated his education...
He's really a 'nuts & bolts guy' who believes UFOs contain aliens from space. He does not entertain alternative theories for UFO origins and never, as far as I can remember, indulges himself in the paranormal...
