A lot of the explanations do seem to point at the olympic torch scenario

The torch doesn't look as large as the artifact in the video:

manxman: the principle of taking an image and blending it into other layers is simple. but as stated earlier the image in the video is most likely untreated, outside the contrast shifts, and is a circular reflection originating from the camera itself. daughter was making a puzzle box. here's how she turned our dog into satan's little helper:

Not saying thats what it is, but depth perception in space is a known issue .
