what was it that these men know?

So what are you suggesting? Nader is an intelligent con man? Perhaps you could explain?

That corporations are hiding behind the government, let the gov take all the heat while they make obscene amounts of money, waste huge amounts of natural resources, and continue to squash the little guy.

I like Ralph Nader, even if he is a bit odd.

So you actually seem to be agreeing with Nader here rather than the other way around. I wasn't sure there. I haven't run across anything about him that comes across as him being insincere ( so far anyway ).

I guess my comment was confusing. I think the big business of the world is using various governments and even religious institutions as sheilds. Big business using gov's as fall guys/scape goats. "They" are the man behind the curtain.
And we can thank Ralph Nader for better car and traffic safety, among other things.

Got cha .. and I think you are on the right track there. Every time I look into Nader I'm more and more sure that Nader should have been elected President at least once.

Just leave this here for you all to watch...

And collecting the data at a central storage facility in Utah, where a psych profile of everyone in the country, probably the world, is being created.

Privacy is becoming extinct. As a matter of fact, the way it's headed, it might even become illegal.

Well, they want to put one of the se so-called "smart meters" with a wireless transmitter inside my house. So far, it looks like if I refuse, instead of putting it outside someplace, they'll shut off my utilities. I've seen reports about how these can be hacked, how the EM pulses might pose a health hazard, and how the utility company refuses to accept liability if anything goes wrong ( there's that indemnification clause again ). So if they don't install it properly and my basement floods, or if someone hacks it ... guess what? It's all my liability. Although it isn't illegal to refuse the smart meter, who can live without utilities? These are the kinds of real world issues I've been trying to get across that are going on while everyone is focused on the red herrings in the media about airport or anti-terrorism security.

All a part of the same web, just different strands of it.

I am very aware of the problems with smart metering as it is very close to home you could say... can not say more while a family member still works for the company that supplies them.
