Well, it looks like Dr. Lynne Kitei will be at the X-Conference 2008 now. I just hope she expands her set beyond one song.

Listen to The Clueless One's bootleg of her performance at the Atlantic City Conference, it sure got me hooked on her unique vocal style.

:D

Tommy-
She might give us another song, but thankfully for my taste she's gone a bit more edgy.

I hear she'll be doing Dio's "Holy Diver" or my personal favorite, Maiden's "Run to the Hills".

Is anyone headed to the X-Conference in a few weeks to catch the opening night of Dr. Diva Lynne Kitei's rock opera "Phoenix Lights Live"?

I'm going go to the X Conference banquet on Sat, if any paracast peeps are attending and want me to ask Steve Bassett if he could somehow seat the paracast groupies or hosts at the same table let me know. Steve a nice dude and could hook it up.

Keep in mind, this might make the evening less interesting since you have an idea about the type of people you would be seated with.

Last year my skeptical friend and I sat next to a guy who was telling us about how his group of friends got schematicks off the pyramids in Egypt for a free energy device! Priceless!

Rocket,

I had not made plans to attend the banquet, but I'd be more than happy to get together with you and any other Paracast folks (including Dr. Sue and Jeff Ritzmann) for an alternate dinner thing that evening (Saturday). Jeremy, you game? Jeff? Anyone else?

Thanks David I would normally be down, but I can't resist seeing Edgar Mitchell and Paul Hellyer give their talks, so I feel compelled to attend despite the $70 tab per person (they better have filet and crystal!). Plus the potential absurdity of a UFO award ceremony could be one for the ages. It's not often I get to check this stuff out, I hope it's worth the money one way or another. It's funny, my wife hates UFO's but I'm making her go to the dinner since I have to go to the ballet and be nice to her family :)

After the banquet if you guys end up doing some paracast boozing I would be down for sure. Although as a local I can tell you Gaithursberg is in the boonies, Bethesda would be the closest place you'd want to check out.

I want to see Jeremy eat another plate of horse meat or whatever it was he had at the Atlantic City Dog & Pony show. If that is the way it is gonna go down, you can count me in.

I'm in. There's the whole bunch of restaurants around there...and then we can hit the hotel bar on the way back in. I won't be drinkin' as I gotta drive home whenever I decide to roll out for the night (which most likely will be after 3am.)

cool, I'll try and swing by the hotel bar if the banquet ends early enough (and I"m still awake!) . If I see you guys I'll stop by to say hi (david's pic is on the site so I should be able to recognize).

Last year I had some tough times staying awake, 8 hours of watching people speak is tough even if it's about a cool subject!

I do recall there being a shopping center around there with a bunch of places to eat. Usually the only spot I eat at in G-berg is Red Hot & Blue, great pulled chicken bbq sandwiches!!!

Last year I forced my only military friend to go with me which was my first and only UFO event. He was skeptical beforehand, but after hearing Robert Salas, Rich Dolan, watching some of Jaime's movie clips and buying the 'Witness to Roswell" book while we were there, he is now hooked lined and sinkered. The Greer talk and that crazy dude who produced fastwalkers was almost enough for him to blow it off, but in the end he saw enough real stuff to believe it's real. I recently got him to read 'Witness to Roswell' and now he's been passing this stuff on to his friends, including another friend of his who saw a massive UFO when he was 12 above his house. The more you put this stuff out there the more you hear wild stories from friends and colleaques.

I think I'll only be there on Friday, so sadly I'll miss Kitei's fiery stage show.

Why did Bassett have to schedule this Conference on Passover?

I didn't even think about that! Bassett must be an anti-semite! (just kidding of course).

My Jewish grandparents would not be pleased I am attending a UFO conference on Passover, but hey, at least it's not a bestial orgy, could always be much worse.....

I am glad to see this conference is dedicated in the memory of John Mack.
If is wasn't so far away I wouldn't mind stopping by even though my confernce days are over.
Have fun everyone and DO report back!

I'll be taking a good digital field recorder along with me, so there will be a whole Paracast episode with highlights/lowlights from the conference, as well as any interviews I can conduct on the spot.

That's very nice of you, Ally, but this show sucks. Jeff Ritzmann and The Clueless One hate the show, and they are right, it stinks. Gene agrees, right, Gene?

You just need Korff, Pye and Horn on the roundtable is all. Oh, and Greer.
