Cleaned the paint off the garage, did the paint work.

Am NOW getting to settle in and make some Yerba Mate.

The special tea woulda had to come first if it was me. No, cocaine.

Any ideas why coke makes some people clean? I've noticed that at parties. Back when I was not as big of a douche and got invited to them that is.

Not a clue, never have been into the drug scene. I do know this much. When it's 30 degrees out, and you have to paint, it sucks.

My Step sisters fiance swears that the only way to paint is to smoke weed first. Kills the boredom apparently. I know that wouldnt work for me though.... Id end up standing still thinking about something thats a million tangents from where I started thinking, or stuck in some sort of paralysis of analysis loop to do with painting.

About eleven years ago I worked at a vegetarian restaurant-slash-juice bar that served Yerba Mate. I would drink it in place of tea or coffee, and never really noticed a difference in its effects. But then again, I was drinking a lot of wheat grass at the time, so that may have already been making things generally crisper in my perception.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts after trying it, Tommy.

People who need drugs to get through life are pathetic.

The Yerba Mate isn't bad. It's a lot like drinking wheat grass, or taking alfalfa tablets.

I also don't think it did much for my demeanor. I do enjoy it though. Mixed it with lemon juice and honey. Made for a very wonderful drink.

Not sure what this is in reference to, but you just described a major percentage of Americans.

It was in reference to another person bringing up doing drugs. Drugs are not part of the majority of American's lives. The majority of Americans have to be competent enough to go to work, pay their bills, and pave the way for the 15% or so of Americans who simply can't cut it.

This is a completely different debate entirely. I find drugs offensive, and their users truly pathetic.

Called the cops. They told us to take pictures and document it. Apparently they have better things to do than catch a bunch of vandals.

Took pictures, and repainted the garage. If I find out who did this, I'm not calling the cops. I'll find the kids' parents.

the "tag"ing craze is actually very sad.
the mechanism is obvious, when i take my doggy for a walk he "tags" lamp posts as we go, this is so he can use these tags to navigate and find his way home.

obviously these kids lack the basic navigational and reading skills (streets have individual names and signs) and are forced to resort to the same crude trick fido uses in order to get around.

one hopes that the satnav tech being rolled out will help these poor buggers

and like the trail of breadcrumbs in the fairy tale, painting out the marks leaves them well and truly confounded

I think I have made a pretty good Yerba Mate' drink.

Take one lemon, and one lime, and juice them. Add a cup of sugar, and made a simple syrup. Take your COLD brewed mate, and mix. Chill in the fridge, add ice. Then... When you're about to drink it, garnish it with mint.

This to me, is pretty damned good. Not sure what other people will think.
