Every website I could find claiming that Horus was born from a virgin was only to make that Jesus-Horus relation. Just that kinda killed it for me.
I had the same original reaction when I saw Zeitgeist the first time, I thought it was a masterpiece... So I started some digging. I didn't have to dig far to find the first hole in this cheese,
Horus was not born from a virgin, but from a dead father/god that was glued back together (Stupid Evil Bastard: Ending the Myth of Horus)
Every website I could find claiming that Horus was born from a virgin was only to make that Jesus-Horus relation. Just that kinda killed it for me. But I do wonder what was the motives for exaggerating the facts? Is there any ground to some of the claims. On that subject, as soon as I see holes, I stop caring. But I encourage anyone interested in the subject to keep digging.
Putting the utopian gibberish aside, do you see any glaring faults in the first half dealing with the economic breakdown?
Also, speaking for rational transhumanists everywhere, I'd just like to say we want man+, not the borg.
I do not at all believe that is true of those who are at the top of the movement. Far from it as they all seem to be lunatics who are brilliant at the same time.
