since the industrial age and a rise in CO2 from 280-380 ppm, our crop yields have gained 15%. same goes for china where they have massive local pollution.
you better tell commercial growers to quit raising their CO2 levels to 1200 ppm. they are killing their plants!

what is your point? can you show me any science at all? or do you subscribe to gore's scientific method of no debate, just believe?

let me be the one to break it to you. we are all going to be extinct one day. that is what happens to life forms on this planet.

guess what? the fucking continents are going to collide again! i bet if we pay someone enough money we can feel better about it... right? it might make us feel like we are doing something?

True. I don't get your point.

The articles I have referenced are from credible sources and state some of the current scientific thinking on these issues. Debate on the issue is very important. This is an issue we can't afford to make a mistake with economically and environmentally. You can check out me previous post as far as how I feel about Gore.

Absolutely. Extinction is necessary in order for other organisms to evolve. Lucky for us the dinosaurs died off. The continents are colliding as we speak. The Himalayas are growing due to this.

sorry, i am not registering just to read that paper.
what is your point about the glaciers? i believe the Himalayan glaciers are disappearing from lack of moisture in the air around them. the temperatures do not raise above freezing there so i dont think they could melt from heat.
you havent really provided any recent study that shows me humans have caused run away warming that would justify world wide taxation. do you honestly think throwing "green" money at a non problem will save us all (and the polar bears) from certain death?
what in your own mind is the problem we face?

With Hurricanes At Thirty Year Low, Gore Turns To Photoshop
http://www.infowars.com/with-hurricanes-at-thirty-year-low-gore-turns-to-photoshop/
With the increasingly discredited notion of man-made global warming crashing and burning on a daily basis, climate alarmists are being forced to accelerate their fearmongering to unprecedented levels. With the evidence failing to match up to the doomsday proclamations, Al Gore has turned to photoshop in order to make a CO2-choked earth look scary enough to sell his cap and trade scam.
The latest example of climate cult fakery comes in the form of the front cover of Al Gore’s new book, Our Choice; A Plan To Solve The Climate Crisis.
Shortly after the devastation of Katrina, Al Gore was busy making a correlation between hurricanes and global warming in an effort to drive home his claim that higher global CO2 emissions cause an increase in extreme weather events. The cover art for Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth, features an image of a hurricane rising out of a smoke stack.
Seemingly underwhelmed that there have been no major hurricanes since Katrina, along with the fact that global hurricane activity is now at a thirty year low, Gore came up with an ingenious method of solving the problem of the lack of scary depictions of frightening hurricanes to display on his book – simply airbrush them in

al gore making and idiot out of himself on Conan is priceless!
1,000,000 degrees! Ha...this dipshit just spouts any statistic he can improvise. The high end of estimates of the core temperature is around 7,000 degrees Celsius. He had to think real hard to come up with the "fact" that there is enough there to power our grid for "35,000 years."
He spouts enough bullshit in one day to power the whole planet for 1,035,000 years, if we could get government subsidies to pay for developing the technology.

if the earth is warming, it is most certainly from the hot air he spews. the only thing green he cares about is our money.

The really pitiful thing here is that the earth is warming, it has been since the end of the Little Ice Age, about 1650. The rise in temperature has been steady and has nothing to do with CO2, which is a minor green house gas. Throughout the time period when humans were increasing their production of CO2 exponentially the temperature has continued to rise at the same rate as it has been since the end of the Little Ice Age. I would like to have "it's the sun, stupid" tattooed across Al Gore's forehead. The sun drives the temperature of the earth. Atmospheric water vapor is the major greenhouse gas, period, all others have minimal impact. So unless we can control the Sun or the water vapor content of the atmosphere we really don't have much choice other than to cope with what is given us. So let's say the temperature is going to climb to some earth changing level or perhaps another ice age will begin (they are normally proceeded by a warming period). Instead of planning for either contingency we are going to bankrupt ourselves chasing CO2 reduction. There are many scientists ready to explain the facts and data to the world but they are marginalized and silenced by the media and politicians. Sounds a lot like how the same people treat the areas of UFO and paranormal investigation!
:frown:

try and find a pro AGW person that will debate or discuss the science... it is nearly impossible.
