Yes, Spooky and Steve, DMT is an intriguing substance. I've heard Rick Strassman on a couple of shows, and he's a very interesting and reputable scientist, a medical doctor/psychiatrist, and his book The Spirit Molecule tells all the details of his government approved experiments at the University of New Mexico Hospital. He has some very interesting personal views and conclusions on his studies, though he is very careful to separate them from the strictly protocol-driven studies that were under strict guidelines, though he had the ability to change dosages, etc. in his studies.

Steve, how many milligrams of melatonin did/do you take? I've always dreamed very vividly, have never had nightmares, no trouble sleeping, but I asked my doctor if I could take a low dose. She said no problem, so I take two to three milligrams a night, and WOWWWW, the dreams are even more vivid, and I'm disappointed when I wake up! Kim

Well, I've certainly been missing out! I have never taken melatonin even on my travels as I have never been one to have any troubles sleeping and I never heard that it could "enhance?"your dreams.Like kim323 I do have very vivid and occasionally lucid dreams and I'm not afraid of going for vivider and lucider, so I'll give this a go. Melatonin! It's what's for Bedtime!

Yeah, I have the pdf of the spirit molecule (haven't started on it yet) and I saw some video on the same subject with the same title I downloaded from google video. I am keen on exploring the substance but I don't feel like experiencing the purging that comes from hyuahasca (spl.) or the yamomami method of shooting the snuff up into my nasal cavity. I'd rather take the wussy way out (kundalini) if it achieved the same objective which I guess is open to interpretation

Then don't do it. I am strongly suggesting that you, as in the singular "you", pass on ayahuasca and most certainly on DMT smoked. This is not stuff you play with recreationally, it's life altering and only for those who have clear intentions and a big set of brass balls.

DMT would leave your mind more homeless than it presently is. Not good.

I have the 3 mg right now. I was going to buy a 5mg when I ran out. But, the 3 had a longer expiration date so I bought that one again. I have had vivid, lucid dreams my whole life. The Melatonin did indeed cause me to have some intense ones when I first started it. The best thing about it for me, was it doesn't give you that hangover feel that sleeping pills do. It's a natural substance. Anyway, for me it's not an every night thing but an occasional help on nights when I've overdone tea or coffee or just can't seem to wind down.

Well guys, It seems I have acquired a mad stalker, a rabid rabbit if you will. Probabky because of my reply to his car wreck of a posting he did in the missing 411 thread.I feel the need to look into a restraining order maybe like this one... the accused (herewith known as the bunny rabbit) must not post within 100 yards of the victim (herewith known as the snarky guy with the homeless mind). who do I speak to about this?

Mr. Qetuoadgjl your well intentioned ( I'm sure) advice is duly noted and rejected if only because I don't take advice from flakes.Try not to fall In any rabbit holes on your way out....on second thought....

Spooky, though I can pontificate sometimes insufferably on all sorts of topics, I have no medical training whatsoever, and my co-user of melatonin, Steve, would no doubt tell you also to perhaps run the melatonin by your doctor or maybe your pharmacist (I did both) before you take it. I know it's a naturally occurring substance, like DMT and serotonin (I think it's one of the tryptamine family), and it's produced by our own pineal gland, but just my advice. Both my doctor and my pharmacist said no problem in low doses, and it is available everywhere in the "supplement" section, but do take that precaution. It definitely caused a light drowsiness for me, and there's no doubt that though I dream vividly, the melatonin accentuated that. And that book by Rick Strassman you and Steve brought up is a real winner, and I would have volunteered for his study myself, but would try DMT only under those controlled conditions. Strassman injected DMT into his volunteers, as that got it to the brain lightening fast. So, check with your doctor/pharmacist on that melatonin. Neither Steve or I would want our medical licenses revoked.:D Kim
