LOl i actually tried to log in with a username of Yes.....

I had an experience that was typical, maybe of an abduction/contact maybe of sleep paralysis.

It certainly seemed like there was a tall grey came into my room one night, scared me quite literally senseless.

But ever since when i get that feeling the house may have a "visitor" i steel myself, and get out of bed go out and sit on the couch in the lounge, thinking "yes"

I want to know..... so the answer is yes

I admit it would be a whole lot easier if they turned up in broad daylight, what happened to me in the small hours of the morning, real or not was so terrifying i cant even begin to describe the sheer animal fear, but i remember it in minute detail many years later.

The "event" had such a profound impact on me that like the main character from close encounters i had to, was compelled to, recreate the scene

Did this happen, or was it sleep paralysis ? , honest answer i dont know.

It seemed 100 percent real, still does, but i cant prove it was one or the other.
What i can say is it scared the very humanity from my mind, left me a gibbering ape trapped in a place of unimaginable terror, to the point i (or so it seemed) passed out in fright.
And despite this, i would embrace a chance to do it all over again
Looking at this brings it all back, with alarming clarity
I woke up in the small hours of the morning, i could hear what i thought was a burglar in the house, things were being moved around the lounge, i could hear the bumps and clinks of objects being moved.
But i could not move my body, only my eyes.
I looked at the doorway...... Its empty. then the other side of the room then back at the doorway...empty, then the other side of the room, i can see the wardrobe and clothes in it.
Eventually as my gaze flipped back and forth from the opposite side of the room to the doorway.... it wasnt empty. (the shock of this moment is ...... ITS NOT EMPTY)

As i watched it "slid" into the room like it was on roller skates, Its arms began to writhe like snakes or the robot from lost in space warning will robinson....sort of figure 8 movements.
Without changing its facing, it slid sideways up my side of the bed, and as it approached my head i remember thinking to my eternal shame, take my wife not me...... before passing out in fright.
I awoke at sunrise and jumped out of bed like i was on fire, my wife asking what was wrong as i stood in the room arms stretched out from my body.
When i got to work hours later, as soon as i walked in the door (i worked in a hospital) they asked me what was wrong, a doctor later describing i looked like i was in shock......

This was prior to the internets, I had never heard of "tall" greys that inconsistancy helped me keep my sanity. it couldnt have been real, greys were only 3 feet tall in the books....

Sleep paralysis or something else ? i cant tell you

Ready for contact ?
Yes.....I'd like to try (again ?)

Understand this is not an academic question for me, my answer is not hypothetical

"Take my wife not me." Did you ever tell her about that? LOL!

Probably like Mass Effect romance options. 'Human?'..'Alien?'..'Human?..'Alien?'
Mass effect romance options? Perhaps I should phrase it differently: What synergistic effect would interacting with these beings have on us earthlings?

Well, it seems I ventured into the wrong thread. Still, I wouldn't and congrats Mike. :)

As long as we don't know what 'they' are/it is, I'd stay away as far as I can.You now you are in trouble when an 'Alien' comes for you.

I'm getting so frigging old I don't fear much of anything. I love a good mystery and adventure.

Mike, it's always good to hear someone that has had this type of experience acknowledge that it could be sleep paralysis. It's frustrating when some people will not even entertain that it could be a sleep disorder of some kind.

Mike, is that a life size model you made?

Care to speculate on what the synergistic effect of mind melding with these creatures would be?

V, from the description given of these things, you have to wonder if they don't represent robots rather than biological creatures of some sort. I wonder if these things couldn't be instruments under the remote control of someone or something else, like a bomb-squad robot sent into a building to explore it.
