And "The Falcon" Is

Free episodes:

I remember that Greg's Project Beta described Falcon as having a slight Eastern European accent, which suggested he might have been a naturalized American. But, since Harry Rositzke was a master linguist born of German parents, this might have very well been just a ruse on his part.

I will not tire of expressing my disgust for the way your 'National Security' interests have been established in such a way that they have become a legal black hole with the potential to engulf any civil liberties enjoyed by the American people. The first and last line of defense of a private citizen is accountability on behalf of its government, but since National Security establishes a 'need-to-know' basis then it automatically creates a self-reinforcing vicious cycle of deception & impunity.

Yesterday National Security was deemed worthy enough to justify feeding the delusions of a private citizen to the point of provoking in him a complete mental break-down. Today in the interest of National Security every electronic communications is monitored, and American citizens can be deprived of their liberty without accusation or a proper trial. Maybe tomorrow your children will take for granted how National Security deemed necessary the installation of surveillance cameras inside every room of every private home or office.

Where does it end?

When does National Security become more important than the Nation it's supposed to secure?

Forget about the freaking flying saucers. This is about the country you'll be bequeathing to your children.

First time seeing this video weird stuff. How about Falcon or Condor one of those guys been responsible for posting the MJ-12 documents to Jamie Shandara? Jamie had met the two fellas in person, so he had a level of contact with them behind the scenes.

Falcon is a very likely candidate as he seems to be the go to guy? His bio hints at someone who had a strong dislike for communists and was always at it tackling the communist problem. Maybe this UFO this show was a perfect tool for a intelligence agency to spread false disinformation and maybe some truth. Interesting there was a USSR element to this show. If you wanted false information to get back to your communist enemies that you had captured aliens and whatnot this was a good way to do it over the airwaves.

Maybe. But in all this business there is still something unanswered:

To my knowledge, the TV program UFO Coverup? Live! was the 1st time in television that Area 51 was ever mentioned, and brought to the attention to the American public at large. Why take such an enormous security risk?

The only plausible explanation would be that the Air Force was aware of the piling number of reports of anomalous aerial activity in the Groom Lake area, and the legal actions to claim more Federal lands in the Lincoln county which was investigated by George Knapp was starting to make waves. So maybe someone decided that the best way to 'uncover' the area 51 base was by promoting a fantasy story concerning aliens and recovered disks. But if that's the case, I feel the ruse backfired, since then Area 51 became the most famous secret location in the world.

PS: Maybe the revelation of Area 51 in public mainstream was part of what is known in 'intel jargon' as a Limited Hangout:

Victor Marchetti, former special assistant to Deputy CIA Director Richard Helms, once said that the government uses limited hangouts “when their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public.” In such instances, said Marchetti, “they resort to admitting – sometimes even volunteering – some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further.”

A Soviets satellite photographed the Area 51 facility in 1988, how long the soviets specifically were aware of this base existence would be unknown to me.

Lazar, claimed also in 1988-1989 he worked at S4 Area and everyone should know that story by now. If you don't were have you been?

Falcon and Condor appeared on tv also in 1988 and claimed aliens were staying on the base (Area 51) since the 40s and have been helping them (US government) with their projects and so forth. These events and releases all filtered out around the same year 1988/ So this year triggered something what i do not know?

Personally speaking i thing this base lost strategic value so therefore a decision was made to use this base as a rouse to spread wild UFO claims I think/no prove all aircraft development at this base likely ended and ceased in the early 90's and is not were the action is going on at this time. Could be wrong of course, like its impossible, to get anywhere this base without a pass, so stuff can be easily hidden from the public with little or no effort involved really.

This much we do know for certain. The fact is a f-117 a prototype was flying around in the early eighties. But that fighter aircraft is now over twenty years old. Were is the new upgrade? It obviously is stored somewhere and is been hidden, where though and what does it look like?

But that's my point: What The UFO community is well-versed on does not always converge with the public radar. Obviously people in the small insular field of UFOlogy was already sharing secrets about Area 51 back in the late 80s, but if that base was mentioned in the movie Independence Day, it's NOT because the mainstream public reads MUFON journals, but because of the huge influence UFO Coverup? Live! had in pop culture.

UFO Coverup? Live! Brought Area 51 in the American Vocabulary. One year later Lazar appears before the cameras and makes his claims about S4. By the mid-90s thanks to ID4 and the X-Files everyone and his mother knew about Area 51.

I remember reading a Popular Mechanics article in the mid-to-late 90s suggesting, like you, that all the major work in Area 51 had been relocated to a new base in Utah, and they would leave just enough activity to keep the UFO buffs with their lawn chairs occupied.

[BTW in the mid 90s I was reading a lot of Groom Lake Desert Rat newsletters, so I was already well-versed about Lazar, the Air Force dispute over public lands to increase the restricted perimeter around the base —kind of weird to keep fighting over that if they were already planning to move elsewhere, don't you think?) and even the retired engineer who claimed to have worked in a flying saucer simulator —the J-Rod stuff.]

But the fact is, IMO, that the base lost a lot of strategic value precisely because of all the attention gathered by UFO Coverup? Live! Maybe this was part of an internal dispute between the Air Force and other intelligence agencies?

Re. the replacement to the F-117, I would assume it was the Raptor, along with all the unmanned stealth drones flying over Afghanistan and Iran.
