Fukushima's melted cores have moved into the earth

Free episodes:

Regarding the second video - I went to the netc site Nuclear Emergency Tracking Conter - and sure enough, the map of Japan shows everything within normal. That includes Fukishima. What?

There is also this someone sent to me indicating to me that "the radiation-risk-wise is too soon to tell. But if you want to hear from oceanographic experts regarding Fukushima, here's a FAQ from the Wood's Hole Oceanographic Institute".

LINK: FAQ: Radiation from Fukushima : Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution

Anecdotally - some years back I worked in a 'company town' that had a long history of radiation producing research. It was a given from the early days - before safeguards - that scientists had been significantly exposed to radiation over the course of their research. As life would have it, many people made the 'company town' their life-long residence and when I was living there, a health survey was done of all the town residents. The results were unexpected. Older residents in their 70's and 80's from the era of significant radiation exposure all showed up as unusually healthy and vigorous. The local newspaper reported this and the going joke was that if this ever got out to the health food fanatics - places like Whole Foods et al would start selling 'radiation pills' for longevity and vigorous health. :p

Of course, the reasons for that particular population showing up as vigorous and healthy cannot be attributed to doses of radiation, high or low. It was just a a fun in-joke at the time - but it was also a curiosity.

The Woods Hole info is reassuring. However, I might take issue with the assertion that floating debris is uniformly harmless. It's hard to see how this can be stated with confidence.

As for low level radiation having no long term health effects--I think we should prefer large scale statistical study. I don't doubt the veracity of the anecdote. I've known heavy cigarette smokers who have lived into their 70's and beyond. ( I could swear my parents' generation had better immune systems that ours.) But I think the statistical risk is very real. X-ray techs don't scramble to get behind that protective glass before activating the machine just for exercise !

Some excellent bits there, and what really irks me about it is that while Fukushima radiation is washing up on British Columbia shores, and raining down on the west, and the nuclear industry is pushing to build more of these disasters in box, what are they arguing about in parliament? Stupid Senate expense issues  ! While that stuff should be taken care of, it's minor in the scheme of things. It shouldn't co-opt the entire government process that should be dealing with these far more serious issues up-front and center! Arrrrrrg ! This government has its prioritization of the issues completely messed up!

I could not agree more with you. Reading or listening to Canadian politics is so painfully discouraging that I avoid it most of the time. Thanks again ufology, I feel less alone.
We need one of these when we go grocery shopping.

Saskatchewan’s Nuclear Addiction Contaminates Both Politics and the People
“The woman who is the Aboriginal relations person for Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO)…She gave me the spiel. I asked her when she was done, “Why would you go through all the trouble, all the expense, and all the risk of transporting that stuff all the way from Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, across all those provinces, to Northern Saskatchewan when you have the same rock formation in Ontario.” She said, “People of Toronto don’t feel safe.” That made it very clear to me. We are viewed as expendable.” -Candyce Paul, Committee for Future Generations and English River First Nation resident
