To David & Gene,

Wow, I'm kind of in a state of shock that you guys are hanging up your mics! Unless its an April Fool's joke on us! Well, thanks for everything, I really appreciated your hard work and I thought the show was excellent and informative.. Thanks!

If I may give a suggestion, how about asking your buddies at Above Top Secret, which obviousy would be the name of the show. Jeff Ritzman can host and do the photo/vid analysis part and that other guy (he was on C2C re: the Chicago UFO) I'm sorry I forgot his name can be the host. I think ATS is ripe for a show like this, unless they already have one. Just an idea to throw out there.

Is that your contest entry?

Yeah, 'Above Top Secret' sounds good to me for the name of the show, but if it happens to win count me out as a host! :p

Space Baboon is the winner!

Thanks everyone for the support and kindness.

idontunderstand, and dvs, please contact Gene for details on getting all the stuff to continue the new show.

I'm very confused. This is the nearest Ive been to an out of body experience

I submit that I should take over, and call the show The Other Side of Ruth. The first episode will feature an hour on the Babe, and another hour on that Old Testament lady I vaguely recall.

Kal Korff will be my co-host.

Too late paul,

This is how the new forum will look -:

I NOW HAVE THE POWER!!!! MU HA HA HA! lol

Completely overlooked this discussion. My suggestion for a new title would have been Drek Auf Dem Teller. Fercockt Meshugass has a nice ring to it too. Also, I would suggest the inclusion of a lot more full frontal female nudity in the shows. Nothing in bad taste, just some jiggly to spice up the conversation.

I listen, I read. I don't post. My words might not weigh much, but I do get the option.

This is a bunch of bunk. If this is true, it's a pathetically rude way to handle it. If it's a joke, it's not very funny...I feel talked down to as a listener.

But whatever...plenty of shows out there. 8)

Well, I think we all got good value for our money...

...apart from Gene and David seem to have got nothing but grief for their efforts.

Agreed...but you still should have been answered in a kinder way. I'm just another yahoo, though.

Well, I don't know David or Gene personally, but it does look to me like DB is on "tilt" at the moment (a poker term) - understandable when he's having to 'fight his corner' all the time...

very understandable indeed.
there are lots of people out there that just like to argue on the internet because there is no face in front of them. if they were face to face they would never open their mouth.

I call it the car syndrome. Ever notice how people cuss, rant and rave at other people while driving? More so than they would face to face? I think the same thing goes on with the internet. At the same time though, I've ticked off people here and in time they get over it and are pleasant again.

What makes matters worse is demeanor can't be read well. Even with smileys:) Some statements are often mis interpreted. It's not the same as actually listening and seeing the person you speak with.

Much of what I view people get upset with, they would laugh at had they seen it on tv by a comedian.

Another very common thing I see is people actually see a part of themselves in another, then chew that person out for it. Not realizing their self projection. Often what we hate in another is an unhealed part of ourselves we are ashamed of.

An alcoholic is someone who drinks the same amount as you do, but who you just don't like :)

(Um, that seemed to 'scan' better in my head than when I typed it out. Oh well, you get my gist..)

Returning to the original subject of the thread, here are a few off the top of my head that I think would make worthwhile shows:

1. Jim Clarkson: the guy who did the June Crain interview

2. Clifford Pickover: I mentioned him in another post before I saw this thread. Fascinating guy, could talk about speculation on what alien intelligence might be like and how to interact with it, what it might be like to have a 4+ dimensional entity interact with a 3 dimensional space, the nature(s) of consciousness and has also written overviews of the DMT-ET intelligence phenomena.

3. Dr. Rick Strassman: Did the DEA/FDA approved clinical studies of DMT in which a significant percentage of participants experienced something like ET contact. Maybe as a double header you could have Alexander Shulgin on to further discussion on the ET contact phenomena that is present with some psychedelics as you aren't going to find somebody who has take a wider variety of them than Shulgin. I'll take Daniel Pinchbeck as a distant third choice for this double header.

4. Dan Sherman: Wrote the interesting little book Above Black about being an "intuitive communicator" for the NSA. As far as I know it seems like he actually did work for the NSA and the story is interesting even if a hoax as it is relatively subdued and relates a very specific short episode without making any "i know all about the master plan" type claims. He may very well be a nut but I've never heard him speak.

5. T. Allen Greenfield: I'd love to see you bring him back. I rather enjoyed the first show. The odd similarities of occult names and symbology that pop up in ufo cases is something that is occasionally referred to briefly but rarely explored in depth. I'd also be interested in hearing him talk specifically about things that I would categorize as "channeled" events such as John Dee's experience, the OAHSPE book, the Ra Material and so on as they relate to ufology.

6. Carla Rueckert: The medium that channeled the Ra Material. Greenfield seems to imply that this was a genuine paranormal event. Whatever it was I think you could safely place it as one of the major channeled documents of the 20th century regardless of it's source, authenticity or content. I'm sure it would drive the nuts and bolts types crazy but I think it would be interesting to hear her talk in any case.

7. Vallee: well, I can hope can't I?

8. Bernard Haisch or someone similar: He seems like a good guy to give a solid overview of currently popular scientific theories that might account for some aspects of the ufo phenomena. I often hear people whip out quantum physics and string theory as a fast and loose panacea for any statement they want to make. I would love for someone like him to give an update on what is currently going on in these areas.

9. Unnamed Source: you should do a show with someone qualified to talk about government secrecy and how compartmentalized programs work. The argument of "the government can't keep secrets" comes up continuously and it would be great to hear somebody walk us through the history of such programs, how they are structured and controlled and historical, documented examples of programs that were kept completely secret for long periods of time.

10. Nick Cook: the Hunt For Zero Point was a fun read. He could talk about the whole Nazi flying saucer thing and specifically all the references in old science publications about x and y companies on the verge of propulsion breakthroughs that dropped off the map.

...just some ideas.

Nah, if they just grief I doubt they'd continue. David got fed up it seems during his sick break though. Probably due to the hassle of Korff, Sereda, MH, X-Zone dude etc. got to him. Gene seems to stay a bit more out of the cross fire heh.

Hi Gene and David

For me, the only two areas of the paranormal that seem tangible are UFOs (because of the large volumes of unexplainable sightings, and the quality of the observers), and Remote Viewing (because of the scientific approach and statistical reproducibility of results). In there RV field, I would like to hear a discussion with one of :

Joe McMoneagle - Joe is "the legend". He is capable, affable and insists on working blind on targets (unlike some other RV media personalities).

Lyn Buchanan - an ex-military RVer. Probably the ex-military RV trainer with the most credibility.

It would be a bit of a break from the UFO material (which I am really enjoying).

Regards
Ralph
