Whenever Walter Bosley joins us, you know it'll be a fascinating, provocative, free-wheeling discussion about things not always discussed. This time, Walter offered his remembrances of what his dad told him about Roswell, ongoing speculation about breakaway civilizations, the Hollow Earth and a touch of synchronicity.

It was all loads of fun, so we continued the interview on After The Paracast, an exclusive feature of The Paracast+.

I'm just having fun with you, Bluto. The reason I do is because I'm actually one of the most up front guys about speculation being part of my thing and admitting when I can't prove something so I get a chuckle when someone says there's 'no evidence'. Actually I provide what I can find and readily identify when I can't and when something is speculation, and you can find it (for what it's worth) in my books. Also, when Gene and Chris asked me to be on it was short notice and it was for a simple discussion of ideas and my opinions on them. So that might be why it wasn't a dissertation before the Oxford committee. Anyway, have fun with this stuff. I do. :)

And everyone please note the smiley faces : :) :) :) I'm not ranting, I'm just addressing the 'no evidence' issue. :)

On my deathbed, I will rise out of a coma to say "NO MORE ROSWELL!" Then I will die peacefully. Is it possible to die from too much Roswell?

Walter expressed, pretty much, this same assertion on the show, so at that point, Bluto392, you could have just stopped listening. There is always ground to be gained by speculation (intelligent speculation, anyway). Without it scientific investigation would grind to a halt, having nothing to examine or explore. Speculation can lead to evidence.

I don't think Bluto meant his comment as a slam so much as a lament, which admittedly took me a moment to process, lol. I just like to set the story straight on the difference from the usual 'storyteller' and how I try to present things. Because, yes, I think a simple discussion need not be held to the requirements of a dissertation. :)

You hit the nail on the head with your last comment -- speculation can indeed lead to evidence in that it reveals new threads to pull. It's a basic step in investigative work only it's often referred to as 'brainstorming'. That is what speculation serves, for me. Brainstorming. :)

This is your fault, Walter. :)

But we have Joseph Farrell scheduled for a Paracast recording session the week of June 13. As you know, you were invited to join us if you have the time. I'll put up a Question Bank thread for Joseph in the next day or so.

I'm surprised that the possibility of subterranean societies, is not given more credit. Even if one considers the problems of a potential lack of oxygen, and the problems of increased atmospheric pressure, it only feeds into the likelihood of beings living in such conditions seeming to be alien. Given the millions upon millions of years of life on this planet, and the number of species presently on the planet that seem to be on the cusp of higher intelligence it seems ludicrous to me that we were not preceded by another intelligent species. The idea that small portions of our own populous could break off into hidden societies just strengthens that argument even more. Combine the two concepts and the sightings of so-called Nordic aliens makes a heck of a lot of sense. It really makes the obsession with E.T.'s as the explanation far harder to empathize with.

...separating the signal from the noise and the evidence from the speculation. I enjoyed the episode. I do like classic sci-fi.

Walter disagree with the two groups and more plausible group for every region. The show was refreshing and Dr Farrell been around a while regarding the Roswell subject and Nazi technology from post WW2 . Already bought his books which do have footnotes . The Moon and other planets more open exploration not military .

I know it's hard getting schedules coordinated, but I'm still recommending a Breakaway Civilization round table with Richard Dolan, Joseph Farrell and Walter Bosley where the differences in their ideas can be discussed in detail.

Joseph, do you believe that the technology used on the Die Glocke (The Bell) came from Nazi scientists only or was it derived with help from extraterrestrial means?

Could be, on the multiple thing. The evidence suggests not more than two, I think, but I could be wrong. We all could, of course.

...with all due respect, speculation can also lead one down many false paths. It can add to "the noise". Again, I found the episode entertaining but enjoyed it like scify versus enlightenment.

Agree Walter your Prussian link is spot on and agree evidence in this fact as personnel connection to historical aspect find very intresting in the sciencetifc history. Moreover, I am looking forward to next book which sounds based in more first person evidence rather just say so and hope you include the O.S.S aspect in it. Also interested in Gold convoys which went missing from Spain in 1944 and the breakaway civilisation and its relation modern day Monterey institutions.

If you're looking for enlightenment here, yet are so wary of speculation, you might want to re-examine what you're actually seeking. :)
