The missing plane might have been found among satellite images released to the public for personal searching. The images shown at the link do resemble the plane, the object calculated to be 210' long, and the satellite image was captured near the point of last contact with the pilots, north of the northeast coast of Malaysia and 370 miles off the east coast of Thailand. This bears consideration. One of an instructor pilot's favorite "tricks" is to wait until the student looks comfortable and maybe enjoying the scenery in the middle of nowhere, then pulling the engine to idle and saying "land it".
