Actually, I thought he was defended already, but I've known Jim since forever, and have seen him through good times and bad.

I think calling him a drunken old man is just way, way too much.

Thank you.I think this old man is a decent man...if he's drunk or on pills for high blood pressure or other medical problems it is not in our knowledge to know...all somebody can make are speculations....and let's hang the dirty old man !!

To Allen Greenfield:Have you ever heard of Rudolf Steiner...if yes...can you tell me what you think of his teaching.thank you

 I think Steiner is in the Authentic Occult Tradition; I'm not as sure about the present Anthroposophical Society, but the books and literature on and by Steiner are definitely worthy. One thing he said, and I paraphrase from memory, struck me as very wise : "For every step mystically, take three steps morally." I have found this to be a great Truth of the Path, and seen so many fall into very, very, negative patterns from failure to heed this.

Interesting...

Can you elaborate on that? Specifics?

Don't mean to avoid the question, but way too complex for an email. I cover some of this in the Manutius Press Revised Edition of my THE ROOTS OF MODERN MAGICK 1700-2000, but Steiner and Anthroposophy are in line with my concept of a fraternity of initiates in touch with ascendent masters and ultraterrestrial beings since the dawn of history, going back to ancient Sumer and up to the present moment. Whether we consider this in technological ot spiritual terms or both is a judgment call.

OK, so i have been listening to this show whilst in the car on my way to work this morning, and its absolutely hilarious! I havent done much homework on Jim or allan so i don't even know who they are but they are really funny!
Seriously, that Allan is the best rambler ever... when he was talking about you guys in the park with the switchblades, then you saw an old lady with a poodle... when David had to interuppt him to keep the show on tack i was laughing so much i nearly crashed my car.
I hope these guys come back on the show again sometimes soon.

P.S Gene, i cant believed you went round terrorising the streets of new york with switchblades... shame on you!

I have no remembrance of ever having a switchblade, but will grant Allen his impression that I did. :D

I am very behind in listening to the Paracast and I just listened to this today. Greenfield made a prediction that there would be a major UFO sighting or landing in Texas on July 3, 2008.

It is quite apparent that this prediction did not come true. Unless there was a major sighting or landing that somehow didn't make the local, national, or international news.

You will hear his response on this week's episode on that very subject.

Its to do with his formula for predicting UFO events.
