You talking about how some of the reported hijackers showed up living? Evidence against a conspiracy in my view. Sort of at least. Why would they be so stupid etc to pick people who are alive and not kill them? Just as cops target the wrong people sometimes, so does the cia, fbi etc.

I think we think our agencies are more competent than they are. Many of us at least. Expect questions and inconsistencies, incompetency breeds it.

I know for a fact that our intelligence agencies are far more competent than they pretend to be. There is a Schism within our government. One side beholden to the Constitution and the people, the other, to the uber elites, and the military industrial complex.

Unfortunately those who are beholden to goodness, the people, and our Constitution are being factored out. The new paradigm is a country that is a mega corporation, with absolute control over everything we see, hear, taste, touch, eat, drink and breathe.

For people to think for one moment, that our agencies are deficient in any way, is idiotic.

Here's why.

I moved from my old apartment, to my new place in 2005. We had a 3 week wait between moves due to the fact it was summer, and getting a truck was nearly impossible. Two days after I signed the lease, I was sent a letter from the Department Of The Army, telling me that my information was on the hard drive that went missing on that laptop that we read about and saw on the news.

The letter didn't come to the apartment that I was living in, it went to my NEW place, I wasn't even living in yet, and I hadn't notified anyone, nor had I filed a forwarding address slip with my post office.

If the Army can find me, a common citizen, then I'm pretty fucking sure they can find 20 terrorists, their sponsors and handlers. For ANYONE to tell me that our agencies were inept that day is utter horseshit.

9/11 wouldn't of happen unless there was incompetence. If they were truly competent, we wouldn't have the disaster to speak about.

I'm wondering what experience you've had with the intelligence community, or the military?

People sometimes are given orders that contradict morality, and common sense. It's why you have things happen like Mi Lai, and various other events that turn your stomach. Kind of like how Pearl Harbor was a "Collossal Intelligence Failure".

You have no idea what the word Conspiracy actually means do you?

Listen, you want to think that I don't have a clue about 9.11, that's your right. I lost friends that day, so I'll admit that I'm a little less than objective about the issues surrounding that situation. Do I think the Bush administration was capable of that kind of evil? Yes, I do. Do I think they let the situation play out, in order to pursue the agenda put forth by PNAC? Absolutely. Do I think that Bush and his cabal are guilty of war crimes? Yes.

And I'll go a step further, I suspect that one day, when all the facts are revealed about what happened that day, people will be truly shocked by the truth of what transpired.

What I don't like is someone coming to my forums - and at this point, only getting involved in conversations where they can stir shit up - insulting me, and not expecting me to blow up at them. I've been on a very short fuse lately, this has been an astoundingly bad year, and I'm having some health problems at the moment. So if I've been harsh towards you, I genuinely apologize. That said, I'd really rather you forgot this show, stop listening, and went elsewhere to voice your opinions. I don't need the aggravation.

We differ on what happened. I am not yet convinced that it was planned and orchestrated by our gov instead of incompetence. If I remember correctly you seem to think so. Sorry, if I got you mixed up with another.

I've never worked for intel or the military.

Of course I know what the word conspiracy means. I have to moderate a forum on it and know what falls outside of it's meaning:)

I'm still learning about 9/11 and not out to twist people's arms and convert.
 
Take a look at this product. It is called an 'FTS' (Flight Termination System). It is designed to remotely control an airplane.

It is manufactured by System Planning Corporation. The former vice-president of SPC is Dov Zackheim, one of the signers (possible co-author) of the PNAC documents. When he was comptroller at the Pentagon somewhere around 3 trillion dollars came up missing. Oopsy. On Sept. 10, 2001 Donald Rumsfeld went on national television admitting the problem, calling it a matter of "life and death." What a convenient distraction we were delivered the next morning.

I'm not out to twist people's arms either as you're insinuating. Your passive aggressive nature is showing. Regardless, you have to stop thinking like a human being, and start thinking like someone who would profit greatly from a terror attack. You then realize how easily it would be that with a modicum of influence you could carry out one of the greatest crimes ever against the American People.

You should read a book called, The Oklahoma City Bombing, and the Politics of Terror. It will give you some very interesting insights as to how terrorism works.

In all the years terrorism has been around, it has ALWAYS been a tool to get the sheep of any country to come to a consensus quickly, and NEVER in any terror event, has anyone of note, nobility, or governance been killed. That alone should make one think.
 
All I can claim to know about 9-11 is that the passengers in the hijacked aircraft and those killed in the Twin Towers are gone forever, and most of them suffered the torments of hell before being given the final release of death. The survivor's families and friends know this as absolute truth. So do the emergency workers who collected the remains. That's enough for me.

As for the rest of it, all we can do is try to maintain an objective search for facts and never let the voicing of opposing opinions degenerate into name calling and hatred. Dismissing anyone who disagrees with your point of view as a moron or stupid isn't helping the situation, it's making it even more difficult to navigate a a safe passage through the darkness.

What little light I've been able to find for myself has revealed the shadow of a tragedy rarely spoken of: the almost total loss of trust in democracy and representative government by Americans. Whether you believe the contradictory and inconsistent explanations of the 9-11 commission and other authorities are evidence of a conspiracy or just the plain cover your ass dissembling of excuses, the effects of either are nearly identical. When people cease to trust in anything, they'll come to believe almost everything. That attitude grants loons of the John Lear variety traction when they come up with outrageous notions like the aircraft slamming into the world trade center being holograms.

Never forget that Lear was a CIA operative. God knows how many other "expert" commentators regularly appearing on the cable news networks may have similar spook credentials. If the 9-11 Truth Movement didn't exist, it would have been necessary for the intelligence services to have created it. Divide and conquer.

For whatever my opinion is worth, blaming Emperor George Bush II for the attack is never going to lead to a solution. His two terms of office have been a succession of shattering failures and never ending crisis. When I say he's an incompetent dunce, I'm not engaging in mean spirited name calling, those are the only terms that can honestly describe him. If we want to make any progress at all, I believe we should start with Dick Cheney, the man who has actually ruled this nation for the last eight years.

Who was lodged in a bunker giving orders while George II was mugging his Alfred E. Neuman impression for the cameras? Who has consistently been named by the administration as the author of American foreign policy in the Mideast? Who has been identified as repeatedly lying to members of congress during briefing sessions, including senior committee members of his own party?

In a recent ABC news interview, Diane Sawyer asked Cheney what he thought of polls revealing that two thirds of the American people did not support the Iraq war. Cheney's response, delivered with a sneer, was concise and to the the point: "So?" Shortly thereafter, George II followed his senior partner's lead when an interviewer raised the point that AL Quaeda hadn't existed in Iraq until after the U.S. invasion had given the radicals the support they had never been able to raise before. George II's answer was, "So what?"

Do you see a pattern here?

The moment Cheney's term expires, he should be arrested and sent to Gitmo for intensive interrogation. It would be a start.

I doubt they serve prisoners in good ole Git warm hunks of gingerbread slathered with a half inch of butter creme frosting. Thank God for wives, otherwise most of us helpless males would be surviving on Mountain Dew and quarter pounders.

I'm just wondering by what miracle of medical technology they kept this guy alive after half a dozen heart attacks, that's all.
 
I read the first few posts on this thread and literally burst out laughing.

To be perfectly blunt, this is the most proposterous conspiracy theory I have ever heard. I have watched a documentary on the "controlled demolition" theory and several experts on demolition stated without doubt that there is no evidence that this was the result of exposives. The experts on the documentary own successful businesses that actually blow up buildings for a living. IMO, that kind of makes them experts on the subject. They examined all the evidence (including the video footage and physical evidence found at the scene), and calmly stated without question that explosives were not used in taking down the buildings.

The people that were pushing the theory that it was an "inside job" were two paranoid pseudo-hippies who got angry with interviewer when he told them what the demolition experts said. One of them stated that we are all "idiots" if we did not believe their theory, and ended the interview. For the record, neither one of them had any experience working with explosives nor any experience in the field of demolition. Their opinion on the subject is about as valid as mine would be on quantum physics.

To those of you that believe the 9/11 conspiracy, please answer these:

Why would Bush and/or "the NeoCons" want to cripple their stock market and (indirectly) lower their own personal weath by launching an attack on NYC?

How were the planes projected in reality if they never actually crashed into the buldings? We have all seen the footage, and it definately shows a large aircraft flying into the towers.

Where are the passangers of those planes, and the planes themselves if the planes never hit the buildings?

Why do independent experts in the field of demolition state that these buildings were not destroyed by explosives (controlled or otherwise) if in fact they were?

In order for the government to have got away with this, there would have to be literally hundreds of people that know about it (including the independent demolition experts). How could a conspiracy involving this many individuals not leak out? Why would not one of them feel patriotic enough to tell the press?

And finally, if Bush is such a freaking dullard as portrayed by the media, how come he looked so stunned in the classroom when told about the first plane hitting the towers? If that was acting, he deserves an Academy Award. The guy literally looked like he just shat his pants.

Just because Bush is an ignorant douche does not make him responsible for 9/11. If you want to state that he used the events of 9/11 as a reason to invade Iraq and Afganistan, I would agree with you. However, this conspiracy theory does not stand up to any kind of objective scrutiny.
 
Anubis, the only thing Ill say is, while youve seen a doco with 'experts' saying it couldnt have been a controlled demolition.... there are also docos out there with 'experts' who say it couldnt have been anything BUT a controlled demolition.

Once again we are in the sticy situation of trying to decide who to belive, or which 'expert' we like best.

he said he saw the first plane hit the tower on tv just before he walked into the classroom. he lied. the first plane hitting the tower wasnt televised until the next day. when he was in the classroom he was told the second plane hit the tower.
