This one of those forums that can divide people but I thought I would try and unite people. This is a picture of were the 7th presidents parents were born. The Andrew Jackson centre which is five miles from were I live. Three doors down is the home of his Aunt and uncle who would also have a famous American son called Stonewall.

Did you check the statistic from wikipedia?

Problem in the US is unregistered firearms. We have here more registered guns than you, 1.5 million licensed guns in a nation of 6 million people.
They are really commonplace here, hunting is popular sport. Its not the guns, its the criminals. However criminal stuff is in the increase here as well.

I need you to explain to Stephanie that it is quite possible to be American and not own a gun.
I do however wonder if Texans are American or indeed even from this planet.

But I'll probably won't ever get this gun thing. My granpa taught me to shoot when I was maybe 11.
Also in this country the Army(or civil service if you so choose) is mandatory, so the locals here know how to handle a gun.

I read that Mike Pence was going to run for the rep nomination. This actually sounds good - any hope he'll win? It would be nice if we could get rid of the orange fellow and go back to normal.
 
Since he was the orange one's lackey, probably not. He also wants to turn the U.S. into a Christian fundamentalist country. But he is also resented by the MAGA crowd because he betrayed the orange one by refusing the demand to help overthrow the government.
 
So conservatives have attempted to make the word "woke" into some kind of evil thing. But they can't even define it; when you ask some politicians you get a bunch of word salad.
