Smoking smell in the den

Good GOD. I have been giving this listenership a BIT too much credit. You would think for a cast that thrives on critical thought, the posts would be a bit more meaningful, and, um... less BS??? Seriously, if you are jealous about Jeff's life and experiences - I am guessing he would let you have them all in a freaking heartbeat. Honestly, I know most people who listen are a bit more intelligent than a couple spewing crap here - it just takes a few idiots to taint the pool. I am just shocked that after everything that was discussed, we are debating the smoke odor and someones percieved accent. Jeff never even claimed the odor was paranormal - he admitted he didn't know. After living with the crap he has seen and experienced, it is going to be in his consciousness that something odd might be going on. Try to put yourselves in another persons shoes before judging their words through your filter. And as for how he speaks? All I have ever heard is an honest guy, sharing some crap that most people wouldn't have the balls to talk about. F^ck!

The arguments on this thread are being blown out of proportion. jratcliff63367 in my mind is entitled to his opinion full stop.

jratcliff if you do feel like that stand behind your statement but explain why you feel like that.

But as a statement of fact any man or women who judges a person character on notting but thoughts of what the person is likely to be like as a individual says something about the individual.

Ok, I'll see if I can try this without digging an even deeper hole. What I was 'thinking' is that I thought the whole smelling smoke thing went on too long. I had just been listening to that part of the show before I made my post.

In my personal opinion it should have went like this.

David "Hey Jeff, anything strange going on in your life these days?"
Jeff, "Not much, things are good, we just moved into a new house. One thing a little weird though, my son says sometimes it smells like someone was just smoking in the house, but nobody in the house smokes. And, only he smells it nobody else."
David, "Yeah, that is a little bit odd."
Jeremey, "Did you feel any energy flowing through you when this happened?"
Jeff, "Nope, that's it."
David, "Cool, so moving on...."

When I made my original post, it included a personal insult towards Jeff that was entirely uncalled for and I sincerely regret. In the future, if I want to criticize the show, I will try to do so without being rude about it. That is, unless the topic is Dr. Steven Greer who I gain far too much personal pleasure from teasing.

Anyway, I didn't listen to the show til after I saw the thread locked.

I was going to offer up the possibility that Jeff's kid started smoking, or was hanging around someone who smoked, and wanted a preemptive excuse to ward off any suspicions his father may have
