Both, The New York Times & The Washington Post are accurate, and the reason Trump would like them seen as discredited. National Public Radio, (NPR), is an accurate source. There are others leaning to the left such as Media Matters for America & Mother Jones that have been known to provide accurate information.
 
Re this Russian Mess..Gene, how is America so very close in space with Russia, yet America is supposed to hate them on the ground? If America wants to destroy Russia with sanctions, then why not kick them out of the ISS. Well ...lets see..NASA needs their Rocket & Soyez! NASA share's their space secrets...but... private industry can get supplies to the ISS ..but not people....Is that the only reason? That's not enough to love them to death in Space. So space trumps everything really. Look at the costs of a single flight to the Space Station. Does NASA really NEED to speed & spend with all this Russian evidence of screwing America in the election. And why doesn't a single White House reporter bring this contradiction up? How real is this sanction business anyway..Tha truth is in this contradiction..somewhere..I need help in understanding this, Gene.
 
So Trump's doing his speech in Florida and he says something along the lines of (with reference to the military) we have the best technology, we are going to start using our best and most modern technology .... does trump know something we don't about classified military tech? Black triangles anyone?

Russia Threatens to Ban US Access to ISS In Retaliation To Sanctions

However, there is one aspect of Rogozin’s statement that deserves considerable pause, and that is his claim that Russia could withdraw from the ISS in 2020, when the US was hoping to utilize the ISS until 2024. The space station is divided into segments: The Russian section that is solely controlled in Moscow is used for docking when bringing crew or cargo onboard, and it is also capable of operating independently. The same cannot be said for US compartments, which is fairly problematic. While the US does have the Interim Control Module that could be used in place of the Russian module, there are some logistical concerns of launching and installing the unit. It is unknown if Russia would actually go so far to completely alienate not just Americans, but the 11 other countries governing the ISS as well.

Thank you for that post reference re ISS banning. I knew that it may be in play.somewhere. The Trump puzzle also must include his 9/11 silence, beyond the usual bluster. Trump builds things. Trump knows how to build a huge tower & why it can not just turn to dust! He has to know that 1 steel tower over a hundred floors could not just fall in 10 secs. after an hr. long fire & leave very little debris. Let alone a second & equally strong steel tower falling in the same way in the same short time...when the circumstances of the fires are not even the same. He is in love with, & close to "Americas Mayor". as well...so he must know a very Big secret & that probably keeps him safe. As long as he does not go to the dustification secret..so they know he's OK & he won't just 'shout it from the roof tops'. The particle beam weapon must be the ultra secret. This must be the weapon that will keep the world safe from the North Koreans, Iran & anybody else who is heading to deploy a Nuke.. I am not into a 9/11 conspiracy cuz it is too painful..but there was some weapon that cleared those buildings from breaking the "bathtube" & flooding New York etc.
This secret is empowering Trump to boast about taking care of those rouge countries if they go to far. Otherwise Trump would use this (alt.!) fact to attack everyone, as he does with everything else. There is a bigger game afoot & it involves Space & that is where I do see a a conspiracy. It's all about space in the end! That is the reason for this Space love-in.& the Russians have to know this too...just thinking aloud.

TEXT Excerpted: The University of Pennsylvania’s student-run newspaper, The Daily Pennsylvanian, reports that school records suggest President Donald Trump did not graduate in the top 15 percent of his class in 1968 and he did not make the dean’s list, despite his reported claims. “In 1968, The Daily Pennsylvanian published a list of the 56 students who were on the Wharton Dean’s List that year,” the newspaper notes. “Trump’s name is not among them.”

The school newspaper adds that the university's online alumni database lists 366 graduates of its business school in 1968, therefore, not being named among the top 56 means that Trump didn’t “graduate first in his class,” as he’s reportedly claimed in past interviews. Nor does it appear that he graduated in the top 15 percent of his class.

The commencement program from 1968 does not list Trump as graduating with honors of any kind.​
 
There is an impression that with the election of Trump the world has 'suddenly' changed. It is not so. This has been in the works for decades, sad to say.

I'll put a big part of the blame on the Internet. You'd figure that the internet would be a great equalizer, everybody on the same page ! Yeah right! Turned out to be the great divider. Internet has officially been with us for about what... mid 1990's ? (I remember compuserve back in 1992 lol).

The internet has been a great eye opener to cultures definitely not ready to be exposed to extreme 'in your face' liberal values (from their point of view) and behaviors propagated by this new essential planetary medium.

In the long run, this planet will adjust to this 'cultural disruption' but like everything else there is a price to pay. Like never before, the USA is divided on 'social issues' (Trump plopped in Pence as VP to attract the evangelicals), racial divides have never been more highlighted through cell phone videos... etc.

Information is power. It's so powerful that dictators like Trump will need to destroy a democracy to control it.

I don't think it's 'fake news'. It's just the kind of thing Trump would be likely to try to do. More than likely he or Bannon suggested the move to one or more Republican governors close to the administration and they or their attorneys recognized the risk of such an attempt, both legally and in terms of public backlash. And one or more individuals in those governor's offices leaked what they knew about this proposal. I wish the journalists would dig into the backstory, but it's understandable that the resources of the responsible press cannot cover all the fires Trump has set.
