And did the Star get this story from The Onion ?
I felt manslaughter would be appropriate charge but apparently the jury didnt
One juror suggests that the limits of the jury instructions forced them to vote not guilty, even though she felt otherwise:

Double jeopardy. What is done is done.
Sounds like speed for kids. What you get in a messed-up world in which kids need, want, to alter their minds.
I thought this video was pretty interesting, although, I don't know much about Bill Whittle...
This video was posted here already in another thread about Trayvon, I pointed out several of the various inaccuracies and outright lies in the video, suffice to say it isn't very accurate. As an example this guy claims that combining Watermelon Iced Tea, Skittles and OTC cough syrup will produce what is known as "Lean" or "Purple Drank" This is completely incorrect. Anyone with a basic knowledge of chemistry can tell you that isn't even remotely true, you need codeine based cough syrup with Promethazine to make "Lean" and the only way you can get that is with a prescription. Not to mention the fact that whether he was buying ingredients for a future batch of "Lean" or not is irrelevant considering his toxicology report had no traces of any opiates whatsoever in his system, in fact he had nothing but a small amount of marijuana in his system and that was likely from prior use, so it really doesn't matter because he wasn't under the influence during the event. Meanwhile, Zimmerman was under the influence of an amphetamine based drug during the incident, Adderal, by his own admission, and yet no mention of that in the video. Gee, I wonder why? So who was more likely to be over aggressive due to drug use, the kid smoking pot or the guy taking legal speed? Just another spin doctor trying to paint this kid in the worst light possible, boring and completely predictable.

Is anyone even wondering WHY this case caused such high waves in the media ..? Just saying...
