Video Game Conspiracy Theories

Free episodes:

Well to be fair we were all getting tired of playing RPGs at the time. Introducing something where your sanity was a big part of the game was just not a good idea. I loved the idea of the game but in the end we played them as a means of escape from reality not to play something so dark in nature.

Since you've mentioned D&D I have to ask. Did your parents buy into the whole "Mazes & Monsters" propaganda?

No, my parents really didn't pay much attention to stuff like that.

Lol that is a dark way of looking at it. You can also interpret it as these targets are needed to practice not shooting them when you see them in the heat of combat. Mind you the part of me that loves conspiracies wants to agree with you.
That is what I thought too but they aren't. The targets have handguns pointing at the shooter. There are for what I said.

Do you think, honestly, that Americans could be trained to fire on innocent civilians?
I understand mind control and brainwashing would be a factor, but still.......surely there would be a high rate of ...balking?
I know there have been cases in the past such as the Kent State shooting, not to mention Ruby Ridge and Waco.
As a veteran, I can see how it could happen, but the emotional toll of such acts on agents who grew up in a western civilization would make their usefullness quite short before burnout. I don't think they could recruit enough viable agents for this to make a difference.
I don't want to die in a civil war.
I want to die on Mars as a radiation sick colonist.
Yes.

They are listed as "Non traditional threat"...

I find it very disturbing considering how much hollow point ammo has been purchased recently by DHS.

Holy Tyranny Batman!
I've posted before about DHS buying hollowpoints. Why in the hell would they buy hollowpoints? They're shit for real target practice.
The only reason to use hollowpoints is to kill.
To whom do they wish to use them on? Terrorists I'm sure.
But the Gov's definition of "terrorist" is anyone that opposes them or gets in thier way.
(strokes chin)...Hmmmmmm........

I am hoping Muadib and Lance can debunk this human target/1.6 billion hollow point purchase by DHS. I figured he would be all over this stuff.

I just think whoever got the idea that shooting targets of little kids will open someone up to shooting actual little kids is funny. People shoot human targets all the time and often still hesitate to shoot potentially threatening human beings, even police officers.

I'd like to see statistics comparing the number of unarmed suspects shot by police and the number or police injured or killed due to hesitation to shoot a suspect.

Not sure I understand your statement. The targets ARE for training to kill a non-traditional threat... even children.

These targets are intended to desensitize shooters to kill pregnant women, old people and children.
In its apology, posted on the company’s website as well as Facebook, LET acknowledged that the targets were requested by law enforcement agencies.
We apologize for the offensive nature of our “No More Hesitation” products. These products have been taken offline due to the opinions expressed by so many, including members of the law enforcement community.
This product line was originally requested and designed by the law enforcement community to train police officers for unusually complex situations where split-second decisions could lead to unnecessary loss of life.
Consistent with our company mission as a training supplier (not a training methods company), we will continue to seek input from law enforcement professionals to better serve their training objectives and qualification needs. We sincerely appreciate law enforcement professionals for the risks they take in providing safety and defending freedom.
The company’s excuse that the targets were designed to help police prevent “unnecessary loss of life” is highly dubious given that the images were all of armed individuals termed “non-traditional threats,” designed to ensure “no more hesitation” from police officers encountering them.
