Wisconsin mystery noises

Free episodes:

Whoa! This is apparently real and causing a great deal of concern there. Here is a video of a town hall meeting where they are talking about structural damage and such.

Flatulence of the gods!

The weird thing about this is, that allegedly many people tried and are trying to record these sounds, yet nothing is recorded or shows up on tape as these 'events' occur (I'll have to dig up the news item on that). Mass psychosis/delusions, or maybe something in the infra-sound spectrum?

Stronger Booms Heard in Clintonville (Wisconsin)

CLINTONVILLE - The booming and shaking continues in Clintonville.

Clintonville police say they received about 65 calls Tuesday night, from people reporting three or four loud booms. Officials say the calls came in from 10:35 until 11:40 p.m.

Authorities say the reports came from the same part of the city that has been experiencing the booms for more than a week, but there were also some reports farther west, including Clinton Avenue. Several callers told police that these booms were stronger than those from last week, but no damage has been reported.

City officials have been in contact with the U.S. Geological Survey about the latest booms. City Administrator Lisa Kuss says she called them last night when the booms were reported, she says she plans to touch base with them again Wednesday morning.

Kuss is reminding Clintonville residents to stay patient during this time.

Last week, officials confirmed a magnitude 1.5 earthquake hit the city.

From Prison Planet.com:

Seismometer Station Rules Out Earthquakes As Cause of Clintonville Booms

Despite official claims to the contrary, early data from a seismometer station in Wisconsin rules out earthquakes as an explanation for last night’s mysterious booms in the town of Clintonville, as residents continue to clamor for answers amidst increasing suspicion.

After the US Geological Survey explained last week’s booms by noting they had found a previously undiscovered earthquake hit the town on Tuesday (despite the fact that the booms were first reported the previous Sunday), city officials declared the situation “case closed”.

However, the booms returned again last night louder than before, with police receiving dozens of calls from concerned residents from 10:35 pm onwards.

I think this is simply earth changes that we have not experienced before. The earthquake explanation was a farse from the beginning, and I knew it. Case closed my ... eye!
Furthermore, aside from the booms, the trumpet or singing type sounds being heard around the world sound a lot like the sound of the earth itself (when raised to audible hertz) that are measured through the global coherence group and the satelites that NASA or the gov't use. (the ones that showed a great spike when we were all finding out about the 9/11 attacks) I will go find the links to provide more info on this. I think it to be relevant to the sounds.

And still not one audio recording of the boom sounds? Boomshackalackalacka.

Agreed - surely someone somwhere in Wisconsin happened to be videoing something or other and captured the sound? Perhaps the owners of such things don't really know they may have evidence worthy of further study. It is a bit frustrating to hear of these things but not hear these things!
I am totally on the fence with the whole thing - until I hear a recording it is just another weird story worthy of the National Enquirer.
I am reminded of all those 'sky sounds' youtube vids doing the rounds recently. Nothing came from any of those that I am aware of. As Dave Biedny used to say - 'I reserve the right to be wrong!'

I was thinking these sounds were hoaxes, but I know someone who was down in Woodbury MN. Who heard boom sounds along with similar sounds like the YouTube videos on March 10.

You would think the first guy to record these booms would make a couple bucks off it. Or does TV news not pay for stuff like that anymore?

My intuition, my gut, tells me this is a combination of hysteria and some prosaic cause. That or it is an intrusion into our dimension by extradimensional forces bent on our imminent destruction to make room for one of their shopping malls. My gut waffles like that sometimes.

What about deep underground tunneling?
