Wisconsin mystery noises

Free episodes:

Hawaiian boom, doubts voiced that it was caused by earthquake activity. Unlike the fake mysterious sound videos mimicking the Red State hoax, these boom reports appear to be something else.

Fracking uses a huge amount of pollutants with the chemical cocktails they use in the process. I saw a program about it on cable and it's ruined peoples lives were they move in to do there dirty work, without any accountability to the destruction this process causes to the land and people around it. Anyway fracking could be one of the possible explanations of the booms.

I have honestly never heard of "Fracking" before.... Well thats not true. But my previous exposure to the term was confined to the latest Battlestar Galactica series.

I seem to remember a thread from several years ago about a very load sonic boom like sound accompanied by a very bright flash of light. It was caught at least once that I remember on a surveillance camera. I have a memory of it being somewhere in the North East. It was similar in that it was consistently random and impossible to pinpoint its source. As far as I know it eventually stopped.

Has anyone looked to see if there is active "fracking" (I almost feel dirty using the term) in the area? That seems like an early investigative line of inquiry. Is there any documentation to support the boom sounds in direct correlation to fracking activity?

Until I have more information I am going to go with Fracking Cylons.

I have an update to a source south of the twin cities that heard the strange boom noises that seemed to emit from Wisconsin. They did some research and determined the sounds are created by giant earth boring machines. This was there conclusion from listening to the sounds these things make. Not saying this is the definitive answer but another possibility.
