Don haven't seen anywhere what time the conference starts on Saturday, please let us know. Is the starting time Eastern or Pacific time?

Aquarius, it is my understanding that the times are Pacific and I do believe the conf. starts at 12:00 PM Noon. However I did send your note to Walter Bosley and I will have him jump in here to address this. Thank you for your support!

Thanks Don, I saved all the emails regarding the conference and not one of them mentions a time, only the date. When I got my password thought the time would be included.

Hope a lot of tickets were sold, this is the bargain of the the Century. :)

yikes i delayed almost to long to get my Ticket, but I'm all signed up now. The highlight for me will be Dons Moon presentation. Adam is always fun to listen to and the others will be new to me generally so it looks great, thanks for the bargain again Walter.
 
I really hope the numbers are good so it encourages more of the same in future. For people like myself across the Atlantic, such conferences are rare and usually still held far away from where I live. The internet is democratising the access to such things.
If Kevin Smith suggested the price - well done Kevin. He is always aware that not everyone has spare money going around especially at times like this. The conference is certainly worth a larger fee so it is doubly good that it is so low. $2.50 per speaker? ;)
 
i am signed up but i have not received a link and password to the event. i did receive confirmation and a link to a test video but when i try it nothing happens.
 
Don't mean to complain and I do know now what time the conference starts tomorrow which is 3:00 PM Pacific but just got a follow up email from kfiles Kevin Smith of a reminder and again no where on the email does it give a time, if you go to Justin TV it announces the Conference but again no mention of the time, very strange to me, there has to be others out there who are not members here wondering the same thing.
 
Today around noon ( or so ) my time we are checking out all the tech. stuff. I will mention your concerns at that time.

It's good to see the members on this page gearing up for the i-conference but I was wondering if we are the only ones from the forum watching? Of course people could pay and not post anything about it but I surely hope it is a big enough success to encourage more of the same.

I would not be surprised if some people figure out next week that they have missed out! Too late!

In case anyone has not read 'There is somebody else on our moon' by George Leonard - Trained has kindly scanned the book and made it available for all in PDF.

The reason I bring this up is that because Don Ecker is revealing a never-before seen good quality moon phot, it would be worthwhile familiarising yourselves with the (admittedly poor quality) pictures contained in the book. The pic Don is showing may be a far superior version of one in the book, or indeed a related one - either geographically or in subject matter.
Most of the phots in the book need quite a bit of squinting to find some gems and I think the experience of Don's presentation can only be enhanced by being familiar with what has gone before in the subject of artefacts on the moon.
 
i am going to try and hook up my macbook to the 46" sony bravia tv i have. hope i can get it to work.
