Hi all ...

Free episodes:

I don't know more, but science is all about research, and he seems to be the only person talking about this. Why isn't Neil Degrasse Tyson talking about this?

Honestly? Because I like to hear different opinions before I come to conclusions. Right now, he seems to be the only person preoccupied with this and he seems to be too invested in the topic to be objective. Once real research is done on this that isn't wild speculation, I'll be more interested. For now, it's up there with reptilian aliens in terms of validity.

I have a 12 year leap on you regarding this subject ... I'll wait since you like to have different opinions before you come to conclusions (but yet are sounding like you have LOL). Go and gather your information ... I'll see you (much) later.

That's what I'm saying though - there is no other information on this topic except for what this one person says. It's non-falsifiable, which means it's not science, it's basically faith, no different from religion.

You must see that right?

Over the years I have found that when someone says something I can't grasp the details of, I go directly to that person. I would suggest you write to Dr L and present your picture - because you really want to know.

How about some information from actual science sources? Those seem like homemade websites.

In short: Ice core samples appear to indicate a cyclic pulse coming from the galactic center. Think massive gamma ray pulse type of thing. The use of the word pulse is deceptive since it could last for 100s to thousands of years according to Paul LaViolette PH.D. Beyond that ...I have not spent a great deal of time looking into the guy. He seems to know his stuff but has some pretty wild ideas as well. Fringe science kind of thing at first glance.

The danger of being hit by the odd gamma ray burst is a real one of course. That the galactic core does this more or less rhythmically is a pretty scary thought.

Such are the minds of certain people ... most of the time (regarding the hard science) researchers are catching up to him.

Da Grassi is biased on a number of things. Short sighted to say the least.
Here's a link to at least show that it is real, NASA knows about it, but they aren't saying 'much'

In my opinion and many astro physicist this wave is what is causing the solar system to warm up and causing the planets to behave abnormally. By that I mean for example there is new clouds forming around Venus and also Mars that have never been there before, as well as Saturn's poles have changed in a very unusual manner and Uranus has increasling activity as well. Not to mention our planet with all of it's activity of late. (unless you're one of those who want to blame that on Haarp, or the common misnomer; 'global' warming) The proper term should be Solar system warming or better yet Galactic warming.

I'm interpreting for the masses here. So I guess I got the gist of it right though, correct?
Yep - your fine. :D Paul is brilliant, and he does have some odd ideas too; but that comes with the territory. As far as I'm concerned I don't care how many things a person gets right - I'm just concerned about the one thing I see that I need. When I talked with him years back, he had a string of minor events that turned up wrong because of a miscalculation in the work of Lacy et al. I really didn't care so much about those events as I did about just one of them - the 3300 BC event. That one, fortunately, was studied independently and was right based on ice core samples. It was all I cared about out of that list.

I like this line: One theory being explored is that the supermassive black hole at the centre of the Milky Way may have had some kind of outburst. LOL - Ya think?

Believe me, when this thing hits, "warm" is going to take on a whole new meaning when the cosmic dust hits the sun.

Okay great - thanks for the straight answers everyone. I watched a Nova special about all the things that could easily destroy the Earth - Here's an interesting article about Gamma Ray Bursts. Those are real.
All the nonsense about the triangles though, that's a little too far out and has more to do with pattern recognition.

OK ... let's take this step by step ... here's the picture. First off, I am well aware of Pareidolia and what people "see" - this is not that approach.

The "triangle" aspect (as well as the rounded body aspect) is a representation of a picture of the Orion Nebula which cannot be seen from earth unaided. This image pops up as far back as around 9000 BC, and my avatar is the base representation with the triangle, also known much later in history as the goddess Tanit. That image was also in Egypt, and as time went on the triangle was closed and the ankh as we know it (also the sign of "life") became the norm. The final version was the christian cross where the rounded "head" was close and made a straight line.

Everything about the picture in total has to do with an understanding of how people "thought" and communicated 40,000 years ago, and "woman" was directly connected as a "visual" representation of the idea of "life". So if a picture is worth 1000 words, the goddess carvings were the original "sign of life" in a context of destruction, which "sign" was upgraded the last time ET was here (the 13,000 BC event) and everything should have filtered down to us today, but, it didn't. 3300 BC was the beginning of changes based on a fear of death due to the arrival of Dr L's MINOR superwave event. The original data was scrapped and everything was, over time, rewritten. We are here today talking about this because of that data change because we no longer know what's going on. ET is here, we have no clue.

The best representation of the nebula symbol was preserved in Newgrange, in Ireland - dating 3400 - 3000 BC and would be a representation of the nebula symbol used during the minor superwave event. While pre-Egypt and pre-Sumer were flipping out, these people kept their cool. If you look at the top pic, you can see both the outward gas flow triangle, as well as the gas outflow "rounded" effect.

Let me add this ...
The base picture I had on my computer - got it somewhere, forgot where. I expanded the base idea to show how, over time, what we HAD became what we have NOW.

One more ....
THIS would be pareidolia ... it's the closest shot of the "head area" of the Orion Nebula I have ever seen. The top picture is what it looks like, the two below it I made into two heads - one looking human and one Grey alien. Is it really there?
