Maudib will now run away again. This should be simple stuff. You all call for taxes and redistribution of wealth to halt global warming from rising CO2... CO2 is rising, temps are falling and the planet is getting greener. Please explain.
 
The Poles have not melted, the bears are fine, deserts are greening, no unusual extreme weather, no increase in hurricanes, etc etc..
These guys should be happy about all the good news yet they continue to wet their pants over non issues. What a confused bunch we have here.
 
Poor Maudib... it must suck for him to be wrong. I have been calling catastrophic anthropogenic global warming pure BS on this forum for many years.. It is now plain for all to see I am right. Human CO2 is doing nothing more than helping to green the planet and prove that climate science is not so simple.
 
Pixel, I challenge you to show me a single post of mine where I call for higher taxes, or the redistribution of wealth to combat global warming. Just one post.

This is what I mean about subtlety and why you aren't worth engaging. You're either too dumb to figure out that there are more than two camps here, or you dont want to see it because it makes it easier for you to construct your pathetic strawman arguments and then blather about what you imagine I think. Also, just because someone recognizes the fact that Co2 is influencing climate, doesn't mean that they accept every aspect of every pro AGW argument.

Why would I want subject myself to someone who's going to constantly misrepresent my position and everything else?

Unfortunately, I don't think I am, and some Minnesota hiller crowing about how right he is, with nothing but his nonsense statements to back it up, doesn't change my mind.

Maudib and the other "warmists" are great at sidestepping and misdirection.. they have to be because they have no actual science to back up what they claim.
 
I present a simple straightforward question and none of these guys can answer it. If the world is warming significantly, show us where the warming is and how CO2 caused it.
 
The very foundation of what these guys are crying about is that CO2 is causing significant warming and we must stop it. WHERE is this warming?
Tyger? Burnt? Maudib? Angelo? anyone?
 
I think it has to do with human caused climate change, not global warming, so human beings can hypothetically cause the Earth to cool instead of warm, like in the Day After Tomorrow. But we do know we can pollute the oceans with toxins, oil and radioactive materials, pollute the atmosphere with toxic chemicals and radiation through thousands of nuclear tests and pollute the DNA of plants and animals with GMO experimentation.
 
So there you have it. The pro AGW theory is just a belief system not based on scientific methodology or observed data. Pay your money, and feel good about saving the world.

Yes we need to keep pollution in check and not introduce toxins into the environment, etc etc. BUT that is not the proposed theory.
 
The fact that this fake crisis has morphed 180 degrees from humans causing cooling to warming then to the all encompassing global climate disruption says it all. Humans are NOT causing any of it. Natural variables cause the climate to change.
 
Co2 is a greenhouse gas, once the gas is released (by humans) we have problems with warming. The warmig isn't pinpointed to give a coordination of "where" as you phrase the question, because the increased heat causes the move around the globe. This cools some areas and heats others. The real problem is that these temperature changes cause the earths climate to behave in an extreme fashion as we see today. I'm not a scientist and got this info easily from the internet. Some ignite might be incorrect.
 
THOUSANDS of scientists, 97% of scientists ALL agree that CO2 is catastrophically warming the planet and NO ONE can say where the warming actually is! LMAO!! This information should be right at the fingertips of all those claiming it. Maybe that's why many top IPCC scientists and other pro AGW scientists are jumping ship.

So the 3% CO2 concentration from humans is causing the climate to change? really? Can you show me the supporting data? What problems with warming are you referring to? What extreme climate are you referring to?
 
Well let me say I haven't been following this thread for months. Additionally, I'm not saying anything. I'm not a scientist. You asked where global warming was and I answered your question. Is your position that nothing is happening with the climate.
