We dont necessarily need to if we scale down our our population. Its only an issue when too many people need too much industrial activity to support their lifestyle.

like most people in this country I believe in a balanced approach one that helps deal with pollutants but does not cripple people's jobs and companies that provide those jobs. However… There is a bigger issue here that nobody ever talks about. Whether or not climate change is something that is occurring naturally and or with the help of modern man, I think that it is inevitable and that it is happening some day and what we really need to be talking about is preparing for it because I don't think at this point we're really going to stop it. I of course, am not saying we shouldn't do anything to, at least slow it down but I do think we need to think differently about how we are going to live in the future because big climate changes have occurred on this planet and they are likely to occur in the future.

This was not true last year. Last year we had more snow than ever and the lake froze over so the snow was not coming from the lake.
Lake levels should drop and were dropping, until about two years ago, because the snow was being taken from the lakes and dumped on the land. Last year the land and the lake got an abundance of rain and snow. Lake levels are above a 98 year average.. In the 90's it was hot and dry here. We got smoke from the forest fires up north. But starting in the new millennium the temperatures have been dropping. The way it rains has been changing too. It is either cloudy, precipitating, or their is a haze in the sky.
Last year they said was a result of the polar vortex. I had never heard of a polar vortex before last year. Where did the term come from? We are experiencing climate change but is it getting hotter, colder, or just more volatile?
Is the increased volcanic activity connected, the increased number of fireballs being reported connected?

The warm year and higher CO2 levels have giving us record crop harvests around the world. This is great news yet our alarmists continue to wet their pants and wring their hands in worry. LMAO.
And that same human activity has given us deforestation, depletion of fish stocks and a 50 percent decline in the worlds animal species to name but a few of the effects
