How Silly is Climate Change Denial?

Free episodes:

Watch every second of this video. It ties global warming and lots of conspiracies together. I welcome discussion only after you have viewed this shocking video. Please feel free to prove any part of it wrong.

Fascinating - you are performing on this thread almost by script.

It's so common for conspiracy-mongers to declare that there is 'plenty of evidence', but not really show any of it directly. They may cite sources, but those sources might be an hour-long vid and it's supposedly 'in there' somewhere. If you demand they be more specific, they just whine that they are 'not going to do your research for you' and skip merrily on down the road. If you take time to watch the hour-long vid and find that what they claimed is not there, they just say that there are 'plenty of sources' which they claim say the same thing, but still don't cite them directly. Rinse, repeat... This is how internet conspiracy theories gain and keep traction- through constant and repeated misrepresentation of what they IMAGINE to be true.

Do your own damn research. Google "CO2 record harvests 2014" or "CO2 greening 2014"

:p This is amusing.

Do you understand how to cite evidence? Do you understand how to float talking points? I don't think you do. It's not the responsibility of anyone to do your research for you. If you want to be part of the conversation you are going to have to put yourself out a bit more: actually articulate your views coherently in a post and find evidence (on your own) to support your views. (It's ludicrous of you to expect others to do that for you.) That would be a beginning.

Tyger, Mike, Burnt, Maudib, other warmists here please watch the video above and tell me what part is bullshit and why. Watch every second or don't bother commenting.

You should try to discuss some talking points from the video. Some may be too busy to watch it. Some may not want to watch it (given the history of some of the videos you have posted in the past). An hour and a half is a hefty chunk of time. Discuss the claims you think are worthy of consideration. Perhaps give the time sequence where those ideas that strike you can be found in the video (minute and second).

Can you do the above?

I guarantee many WTF moments. This is why I told Tyger to forget everything he thought was true. We really are living in a Matrix.

You need to start taking risks and actually start fleshing out your thinking.

The warm year and higher CO2 levels have giving us record crop harvests around the world. This is great news yet our alarmists continue to wet their pants and wring their hands in worry. LMAO.

Please cite your evidence for the claims you are making here.

You guys made the claim of warmest year. What is the warm temp? What is it compared to last year?

This is my busy time of year. I have no time for baby sitting you Tyger. Watch the two videos above then I might engage with you.

You watch them both and I will make time to discuss every minute of them. I doubt you have the balls tho. It will clear up the reasons you believe what you do and you will step over to the sane side of the science.

Nope, doesn't work that way. I don't have time for your video. You need to float some ideas and cite evidence. Do your work.

F off then. I know facts scare the crap outta you. The videos explain everything. Too bad you are not man enough to check them out. You don't even have to watch you can listen.
Are you chicken to find out you are wrong and why you are wrong? Watch 10 minutes at a time Tyger. I dare you. 5 minutes at a time even.

Do your work, Pixel. Man up. Show that you have a grasp of the issues. You clearly have the time to make these endless one-liner posts (or 4-liner one in this case). Give some detail. State your case, cite your evidence. We wait.

I did my work and posted a video with answers to all your questions. You ARE scared to learn the truth aren't you. You could have watched 30 minutes so far.

There is nothing to discuss until you watch the videos. Ask your mom to bring you milk and cookies and enjoy the information.

I guarantee nearly everyone on this forum will find the second video interesting. Watch every minute of it right to the very end.

Posting a video is not doing your work. You have to actually articulate your views - with words, here, in a post - and you have to cite your evidence to back up your views, if it is not to be simply an opinion piece.

What questions of mine are you proposing to answer? I'm very curious.

As stated previously: you should try to discuss some talking points in the video, in case some are too busy to watch your video or don't want to watch it. Discuss the claim you think is worthy of discussion and illumination. Do you present any evidence at all? If not, then your claims - whatever they are - can simply be dismissed as being without evidence. We don't need to go any further.

Anybody live in Virginia?

Talk Nation Radio: Stephen Nash on Climate Disruption in Virginia (Podcast)
Talk Nation Radio: Stephen Nash on Climate Disruption in Virginia | Let's Try Democracy
FROM THE BOOK comments
Virginia Climate Fever

The trend line shows that the statewide rate of temperature increase is 4.6 degrees per century. Scientists agree that as it continues, it ratchets up the risk of dangerous, destabilizing, and very long-lasting climate change within our lifetimes.

If you think the whole climate discussion is overblown, maintain your convictions, but listen to the scientists I’ve talked with. Judge their reasoning, evidence, and credentials, and compare them to the people you usually pay attention to.

Two comments on the podcast. The type of rain that he describes has happened somewhat where I live. He says that there will be sudden down pours. This has happened so much so that one one street they went kayaking but we also have been getting steady drizzle. The other comment is about Germany which changed its energy to green energy. He says the only ones who got hurt by this are the power companies.
