For a rigorous strategic analysis as to what is likely to play out over the next century, read George Friedman's The Next 100 Years. In his view the world will continue to remain divided, with various powers challenging American hegemony. I highly recommend it for those interested in a thoughtful assessment of where we are likely to go from here.

If the US goes down financially, so will western europe, hope you are aware of that.China could recoup with sheer manpower.

Financially speaking, China can take us down anytime they want. We have borrowed billions from them. If they called in all our debt we would be in big trouble.

Actually, yes, I did watch it. I watched it before you posted it here. I wasn't looking for errors. I was looking for reasons to continue watching without vomiting on my TV.

It's bullshit...period.

Talk about Bullshit. You would jump at the chance to find any error at all.

No one cares about the errors. Get over it already. The only error was the fact I allowed my eyes and ears to be raped by this bogus bullshit. Any documentary that involves the same mouth breathing moron from Loose Change is complete, utter bullshit.

And no, it's not free. If it were, it wouldn't be for sale HERE. So...Alex says Cha-Ching!

If there are no errors, then it is all true. And yes, it IS free OR for sale, you can choose. HINT: the FREE one is posted here where you can watch it for FREE. If you need help finding the first page of this topic let me know.

I guess if you don't like what you read, make fun of the source. Just because it's a link from wikipedia doesn't make it any less true. The people behind this "documentary" (the quotes mean that the word should be read in the most sarcastic way imaginable) are actually using the global market to get people to own a copy of the DVD - I love irony.

Actually, I just used the Wiki link as the quickest possible way to help you understand what a loss leader is, which is what people like Jones do when they give stuff away for free. Heck, it's what I do when I give stuff away for free. It's called being in business, and if you don't think Jones is in business to make a profit, then you're more naive than I thought. :)

Let's keep the language clean folks.

i am well aware of the term. I do it myself in my business. i just found it interesting that you can easily discredit a well researched film yet quote a wiki link.

Pixelsmith, I spent quite a bit of time watching the Alex Jones stuff. It can be very interesting to watch and of course alarming and disturbing as it is supposed to be. I genuinely don’t know what makes the guy tick – he may well be as scared as he makes out and this is a mission from the heart. However, I think it’s worth considering that he may be corralling people interested in searching for truth down a cul-de-sac on the part of intelligence agencies. Or that he himself is being used for such purposes. I don’t know the answer but I think it is wise to keep and open mind about it. I think his stuff has got some genuine information about past events and he exposes a lot of corruption but he makes some unfounded leaps about world politics with little to back him up. He presents some interesting facts about CIA drug running or the Gulf of Tonkin etc but then extrapolates from this to world population culling and absolute powerful overlords. My alarm bells go off when someone is presenting me with a grand-narrative that ‘explains’ the state of the world in overly-simplistic terms. Before you realise it, you are living in a disturbed and paranoid zone where everyone else are ‘sheeple’. So I would just caution you to take a step back emotionally every now and then. I was told by someone claiming to be an ‘insider’ that the economic collapse was just a first stage to Marshall law and we would see it before the end of summer 2009. He advised me to get food/water etc. It never happened as you know. How long are you prepared to keep making excuses for claims that never come true? That’s a genuine question, because there is a danger of getting so caught up in that worldview that you live you whole life under its shadow. If it turns out to be exaggerated and largely inaccurate you may feel you have wasted some precious years.

Regards

It's not a well-researched film. It's a pastiche of half-truths, misrepresentations and outright lies, designed to appeal to a credulous audience that wants to believe.

I'll give them this, however - they're slick. Which is what makes it all the more ironic.

As for quoting the wiki link, give it a rest. If that's the best you can do...

So I guess you have a list of half-truths, misrepresentations and outright lies you can share with us. I would love to learn what you have found.

This is just turning into a circular argument. Some people here will chose to believe this, and others will not. I'm not going to let conspiracies with no real proof rule my life.

I do not let conspiracies rule my life. I am way too busy for that.
It is interesting that people on this forum will believe in UFOs, ghosts and bigfoots with far less credible documentation to go on.

Well I believe in UFOs in that they're objects that are in the air and are unidentified. I don't think that they're "paranormal" though, and I doubt that it's aliens. There's no proof of that, just like there's no proof that there's some sort of group of elites ruling the world.

However, keep in mind that I'm a dirty, dirty skeptic.

I don't need to "believe" in things I've seen and experienced with my own senses, it's like asking me if I "believe" grass is green.

No proof there is a group of elites ruling the World? Are you serious? what do you think Government is?

I do not believe UFOs exist, I KNOW they do. I have seen one fairly close. I have seen a "ghost" as well, I KNOW they exist. It was about 30 feet from me. The rest of my family saw it as well on numerous occasions. I have no proof of any of these events. I do not need to believe. I KNOW.

I KNOW elites rule the world. I know that because we pay taxes to the elite... and 27 Trillion looted dollars is proof enough for me.

It was not long ago people like Jose said the European Union was a conspiracy theory. There will be an Asian Union, North American Union and a few other "unions". Compartmentalization of the various unions is how they will bring about a one world government.

Well the European Union does exist and has expanded it's membership since it was born in 1957. Former Soviet Bloc countries like Poland, Latvia, and Slovakia and few other eastern European countries have recently joined and Turkey and Israel have shown an interest in recent years in joining and many would consider these nations to be part of the Middle East.

Pixel an American union is unlikely because the United states, Canada, Brazil, would have to support the weaker nations for many years.
Countries like Mexico, Chile, Peru and other Southern American Countries.

The American population would not support such a union and it would financially ruin the United States and Canada. See most Europe nations are financially dependant and are able to help slightly more weaker European Nations but countries in South America are still far too weak for two large countries to support on their own. So therefore a World government is impossible in our lifetimes.

Probably so, UNLESS they can destroy our economy first, which they are very close to doing.
