Kerry set to calm us about Syria ? Or ?...

Free episodes:

The USS Ramage destroyer left Naval Station Norfolk on August 13 for the Eastern Mediterranean, “to relieve the Mahan”.

Yet in fact what was decided was to deploy all five destroyers along the Syrian coastline. This decision was taken by the Pentagon well in advance of the chemical attacks of August 21, which constitute Obama’s pretext to intervene on humanitarian grounds.

There is a very long history of the brutality of this regime which should not be forgotten
On a stopover in New York as he was returning to Canada from a vacation in Tunisia in September 2002, U.S. officials detained Arar, claiming he has links to al-Qaeda, and deported him to Syria, even though he was carrying a Canadian passport.

When Arar returned to Canada more than a year later, he said he had been tortured during his incarceration and accused American officials of sending him to Syria knowing that they practise torture (with Canadian officials blessing)

Being that I have no problems with flip flopping on issues that I'm not on the inside track of , with the breaking news that on tbe eve of a presidential addtess on Syria and our Congress back in session, I have to wonder about the recent news that Syra is open to chemical weapons inspection and verification. Missing from this announcement is any caveats about having the rebels doing the same  anybody with any insight on this ?

even more so that the Russ...I mean Syrian...government is running with an off tbe cuff comment that Kerry had made.

I don't think there's an "allegedly" to it...Assad killed his own people. This is consistent with the very long history of the brutality of this regime.
Sorry Mike, I have to draw a line here--this is not something I am really willing to debate or argue about unfortunately, it is just too horrible...

To the others: this is one of the few things that I am, unfortunately, very uncompromising and unwilling to actually entertain any appearance of "open-minded"

For every action....reaction, action, reaction, etc....

Because the faithful believe these babies are in paradise, there will be many bodies around death's door keeping the portal open with dogged determination.

We are losing more children in our own country every year to senseless gun deaths than the victims of foreign tyrants.

Why would anyone take our counsel?

Hama massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That there is a civil war and that Assads forces have killed including children is beyond doubt.
But unless there is proof that he was responsible for the chemweap attack, then it is still allegedly.

The prosecution would be laughed out of court if it presented as evidence, "we know he did it".
You must present evidence thats beyond a shadow of a doubt (the highest of the two legal standards) to convict to the criminal level

Legal burden of proof - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saying "we know he did it" does not satisfy the burden of proof.

CIA records now prove that Washington knew Saddam Hussein was using chemical weapons (including sarin, nerve gas, and mustard gas) in the Iran-Iraq War, yet continued to pour intelligence into the hands of the Iraqi military, informing Hussein of Iranian troop movements while knowing that he would be using the information to launch chemical attacks. At one point in early 1988, Washington warned Hussein of an Iranian troop movement that would have ended the war in a decisive defeat for the Iraqi government. By March an emboldened Hussein with new friends in Washington struck a Kurdish village occupied by Iranian troops with multiple chemical agents, killing as many as 5,000 people and injuring as many as 10,000 more, most of them civilians. Thousands more died in the following years from complications, diseases, and birth defects.

10 Chemical Weapons Attacks Washington Doesn't Want You to Talk About

Now some of the examples in the above article are questionable as to relating to this matter, but why is that in 1988 it was ok but today its not.

Dead is dead, whether its from chemweaps, phosphorus like the Israeli military used (did we bomb them ?) or good old fasioned DU shells..........

I'm really suspicious about the sudden moral imperative thats being applied selectively here.

They say all is fair in love and war

The awful truth is nothing is fair in both cases.

Im outraged that children are being mass murdered anywhere on this planet in the 21st century, but im also very suspicious about the selective morality of singling out this one of many examples for retaliation.

Given the news this morning and the apparent agreement by Syria to give up their control of cw...russias idea of course..me head is starting to spin, this whole storyline of narrative control can best be described in three words, wag the dog

There are, unfortunately, some people out there in political circles who want to pretend that the WMDs existed, or that they were sent to Syria or Iran ahead of the Iraq war.

Sad fact of the matter is it can be boiled down to this... American economy down or slowing... Start another war.

Last public count was 74 current Wars and ?? Secret ones.

"Discombobulated" is how I describe the look on the face of the guy this morning when I asked if he was aware that someone had put an obama sticker on his car.

There was a plane that hit the second tower on 911 and everybody saw it:
Critcal Review of WTC "No Plane" Theories
There was no plane that hit the second World Trade Centre and no one saw it.

So there are weapons of mass destruction for which we have proof, but no one has seen. There are have planes, or not, which did or did not hit the World Trade Centre. How can we ever sort out the truth about ufos which do not obey the obey physical or mental laws as we know them. This is why I liked your last show on September 8, 2013. Your guests were allowed to present there evidence, saw what they thought was true and not true and explain how it all fits together.
