Liars, Frauds and Hoaxers

Riiggght. It's all about you dude. That's why we are all here. You are rather dramatic aren't you? But, on the other hand I did kind of bait you somewhat. I just don't see how a person who calls themselves a skeptic can be so open to some woo and dismissive of other woo. Transhumanism is woo. But, I let my hate of a cult cause me to get personal.

This is a good place to start if you or anybody else decides to get seriously skeptical of this subject.

If you were interested in talking about the Gulf Breeze case why aren't you talking about that rather than what you think my woo filter should be set to or what you think I've said about the subject of another thread?

I don't have to meet your definition of a skeptic Danny, whatever that may be. I don't know why you are preoccupied with my opinions and what you think they should be but I suggest you just put me on ignore if you don't like them. One man's woo is another man's mystery until the shine wears off.

Your personal crusade against trans-humanism isn't that interesting to tell you the truth. And I'm confused because if you have read those threads then you know I think transhumanism is a unreachable dream. Why should I repeat that endlessly? You don't like the fact that I can agree to disagree with people Danny? That disqualifies me as a skeptic? Pound sand fella.

I'd be interested if Dr. Maccabee ever examined any of Ed Walter's ghost photos. My understanding is that these prank photos were made by double-exposing the film, and he later used the the same technique with his paper UFO model.

Newspaper story on Walters' ghost Photos

Yes I believe that Maccabee did. I think that is in the first book. If I remember correctly he discounted it as being an explanation for the UFO photos, particularly the photos taken with the special stereo cameras.

The books are interesting and well worth reading simply from the historical aspect of the Maccabee's investigation. I am not convinced that the photos were faked although I fully recognize the fact that they could have been.

Bio-electric uhhhhhhhh interface...... That was some of the absolute worst acting I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe this guy is still around, I could show his alien video to my 7 year old nephew and he would call bullshit on it.

In the scheme of things, he may just hope to fill the room with paying customers; forget about vetting the material.

If you don't have material you don't have a show. It all makes sense in the show business. I love watching Fact or Faked even though I have come to suspect that they may be faking some of their own facts so to speak. You get what you pay for I guess.
