I agree Kieran. The Vedic astrologer did a commendable job.
The trouble is that astrology is one of the many polarizing subjects in the esoteric world. You, I and some others see the potential in it. Some opponents seem to be very eager to dismiss it out of hand without any study or even minor research in to the subject. Also people have tried it and walked away unconvinced but at least they have checked it out. Some don't believe in any esoteric or paranormal subject unless science has verified or validated it. I don't have a problem with criticism of any of the subjects but at least do your homework.

Me and You seem to agree lot Phil lol but in all seriousness we are just a couple of blokes with opinions at the end of the day. We can talk all day until we are blue in the face about this subject and other subjects, but we now have ammunition to back up our opinions here.

A well-known skeptic was unable to debunk the Astrology claimed by the man in the video. That ends the debate for me. We don't need to prove anything, it over to people arguing with us to prove our opinions are wrong.

MUCH of what we came to understand concerning Astronomy comes DIRECTLY from Astrology of the Ancients, and their knowledge proved to be 100% correct. If they were 100% correct in ONE field of research concerning the Stars, planets and positions, does it not follow logically that they would also be correct in the other aspects of such studies as well?
This is a very enlightening course work of studies I am sending everyone here concerning FAR more than what is being deemed "Astrology" by the mainstream esoteric standards of today. There is a DIRECT link between the resonative factors involved in Astrology, Numerology, Tarot, and what is called "Vibratory Science". It will be interesting to see the direction of this thread in the future given what I am sending in this response.

Go to the top of the page and click on "Courses"...you will then be given a choice as to how to see the list of courses. I personally like the Numeric method over the "Easiest to learn first" method, but then I have been doing this sort of research for over 23 years now, so I am well versed in the workings of such Sciences.
I VERY much like the fact that you have an open mind AND are Critical of thinking enough to need more information, if not Proof. =) Your Doubt serves you well!!

I predict you will come back and spit and sputter some more, I see your nostrils flaring and your face getting beat red... i see your heart rate increasing and your face contorting... does any of this make sense to you? I see you eating something... and maybe drinking something... have you had anything to eat or drink in the past 2 days? does any of this make sense? oh... I am seeing you putting a garment of some kind on... have you put any clothes on recently? does any of this make sense to you? Oh wait... I am seeing some sort of emotion growing within you... have your recently or are you now experiencing a escalating emotion of some kind?

I bet I am 100% accurate... that will be 400 dollars.

I agree. My respect for Shermer has gone up, rather than down. I do not agree with the other comments that this is "B.S and anyone could do it". While this test is not a true double blind study, it does look interesting, and should be followed up with more research. One must remember that blind belief is just as bad in science, as it is in religion. As a chemist, I find the "true believers" in science to "save" them more disturbing than I do in classic religion. At least religion requires some kind of moral stand. pb
