I am not seeing anything worth getting excited about here. Am I missing an angle? The photos are horrible (possibly to discredit the poster?) and nothing comes across as specific to UFOs apart from old rags being tossed through the air. We all know that disinformation has been around for ages and ages. I just don't think the real intelligence agencies would waste much time on paranormal discourse. Seems far and away more so aimed at civil unrest. I know Tony thinks that the USA has been flying those ET's intergalactic hotrods ever since that deal went down in the desert, but apart from that, what interest could the government honestly have within UFO forums?

The UFO pictures are only there to illustrate the principles being discussed: exploiting existing beliefs, setting up an expectation by priming, an advertising/stage magic technique and so on. Photo one is the primer, a flying saucer, this makes us look for UFOs in the following photos which are of a silvery blob (Mylar balloon?) and a bird. The importance of the UFO pictures themselves is about zero.
This presentation closely relates to the things Mark Pilkington was talking about in Mirage Men and his lecture Abuses of Enchantment. It seems sinister and spooky, but military intelligence has been using techniques learned from advertising for quite some time, there just getting better at applying them to the digital environment.

Can we point to any specific cases of this knowingly happening in a paranormal forum? The whole thing does in fact fascinate me due to previously being caught up in believing the Edgar Fouche tales and wondering if there was any relation to this type of intelligence operation, but beyond that, is this really anything that we all don't know already happens? What the heck have we been referring to as "disinformation agents" all these years if it comes as a big surprise that they're real?
I am far and away more so pissed about the NSA and the Brits screen shooting millions of pics via Yahoo's messenger service.
The bottom line here is there is simply no real verifiable information via Snowden's leaks concerning UFOs. That's all I am interested in. This just seems like more big brother BS. It's funny how the idiots encourage what they hope to contain. "Here, let me put some gas on that fire to help put it out". F'n morons.

Mark Pilkington thinks that the SERPO business could be an example of this. I think you are right about the "Big Brother" thing being the real issue. This will probably fuel paranoia in the UFO field, but I don't think it is a major concern. Government agents probably do monitor web forums (at least mechanically) but considering how conversations usually go, I doubt they have much influence!

Agreed with bird and if you look carefully from the bottom left going clockwise you can literally make out a tadpole, a rooster and a pig with one set of legs missing. Still, perhaps this is a message from the trickster confirming the reality of UFO's as in, "When pigs fly I'll believe these things are real."

Serpo, like Dulce, is one of those "over the top" alien liaison affairs wherein the secret history of the world (part 26) is revealed. I would imagine if Serpo could be one of those covert programs, certainly Dulce could. Didn't the whole liaisons thing start with the letters supposedly found that were written by a secretary or cleric turned fulltime government medium that telepathically communicated and interviewed the extra temporal crashed surviving alien from Roswell?

Frankly, that is an excellent idea. Seriously. The type of thing that can be really interesting, not to mention revealing. I have a notion of a theory about the entirety of the contactee situation. Including the Greys and their doings. It's really a suspicion more so than even a hypothesis. In fact, I would call it literally delusional like most else of what I find depth and fascination with. I simply cannot shake off my personal convictions on this one that mankind itself is the responsible manipulative agent.
Possibly wherein such natural arising causes might be greatly amplified via a technological means.

We have to be careful about giving credit where credit is or isn't due. Its enough for the military and the government to suggest that they have all this tech or all theses programmes without actually doing any of this stuff. An official trades on trust. With the US Defence , this has back fired so many times even their counter intel and disinformation can be used against them. Sometimes its just not that complicated and its enough to unsettle, muddy the waters and make people fear you. The results although look negative still install the idea of fear thus creating an even bigger control mechanism. Snowden's leaks about the NSA and CIA data mining and surveillance operation both on the public and high level people were still ultimately leaked by a low level US "clerk". Does no one think this is a little too cataclysmic, that such a small cog in the wheel can cause so much fall out and disruption? If such information was readily available and easily leaked or about to be leaked, you instigate a programme of control of that inevitale info drop i.e. you "massage it" leaking it yourself through a controllable source, adding more information, barium meals and seed data or you destroy or sully the real source if you can or cannot get to him/her and the possibility of martyrdom is removed.
If "they" are collecting so much data, what good is it? Maybe the idea of collecting and using it is greater than the practical nature of such an endeavour. There's this idea that if you store detailed enough data you are able to virtually time travel through this meta data when at first none of it meant anything, The other idea is because there is so much of it it, it becomes useless so you need to create sophisticated data mining programmes based on key words or phrases, known associates and pseudonyms etc.. Again useless as real criminals, spys and terrorists do not send each other emails saying "hey doing that bombing later?" , "yeah for sure". So instead you use it to collect personal meta data that you can use to effect the physical world, bank account numbers, passwords, phone numbers etc.. pretty much what internet phishers do, so the threat doesn't isnt about the nefarious people like terrorists in society but the threat seems to be society itself.
The real questions that people forget to ask themselves are the simple ones. What do "they" fear about ordinary citizens? Why would they target differently UFO sites or conspiracy sites separately from general data mined social media and mass main stream sites?
The counter intelligence and spy craft that was once used clandestinely has since the 40s been used now on the general public and its own people. We have to be up to speed with these things and tactics particularly if you are interested in UFOS.
