I have to take issue with one of the Canadianisms...while everything else is pretty true, especially in learning to be easy going for the most part because you never know when mother nature is going to kick your ass so hard you can't find your car in the snow bank. And the apologies...my goodness. Why can't average Canuck just walk past you without apologizing for breathing some of the same nearby air I'll never fathom? But the math bit - that one's from Detroit. Now we may write poetry about the octopus on the ice but that's b/c it's so surreal an image that it feels like it should be Canadian, but truth be told, that's the Detroit Red Wings fans' invention! We just wish it was ours.

(Sometimes, when I read the animal jokes here, I wish so much my dog could read so he could laugh along with me.)
