Really interesting Climate Change Data

Free episodes:

"I am not sure what your point is with this link."

It's a concrete example of how nations bordering the Arctic Ocean are moving to take advantage of the very non-theoretical melting of the icepack, a result of global climate change. You asked the question.

Again, what is your point? Global climate change and the melting of ice packs is nothing new or unusual. Climate has been changing for over 4 billion years.

Agree with the climate debate being no debate. The only issue most climate scientist argues about is the way the math models should work, which is very technical, and way over my head. As far as agreeing that humans have an impact on our climate, there is no argument. Also, most laypeople do not know that scientist “flame” each other worst then we do to them. After all, its they’re job to be skeptics, and they are competing over grant, and government funding.
As far as HAARP, mostly a harmless microwave generator used by government to change features of upper troposphere in order to communicate with subs and the like. With that said, there are some nefarious rumors of weather change, which might be possible. Only problem is the small amount of power this thing can generate compared to our planets weather systems. If anything, this thing could be used to bring down satellites, which means that this is a topic that should be investigated. Sounds interesting. PB

I have always found that eating egg salad and beers works just fine. I can increase the global temperature by several degrees all by myself after an especially ruckus Friday night. Cheers.

This seems relevant. The title of the video is misleading and I wish it were just Huxley and Rather or something. Ignore that. Listen to what he is saying about humanities impact on itself, not just on its environment.

Phil Plait has an interesting post about climate change data from NASA if anyone is interested here:

And here's a direct link to NASA's site:

Climate Change: Evidence

I can understand opposition to the laws trying to alleviate climate change such as "cap and trade," but to flat out deny the evidence in order to support that opposition stuns me. Why can't politicians come up with solutions that are better instead of denying the evidence?
