T.O - we will just have to disagree on that point! i am seperating in my mind the reasons someone can no longer be trusted with the fact that probably not every piece of work they have ever done is fraud. that would probably be harder than doing it for real!

As for me i am not interested in sitchin's theories and i've never read a book by imbrogno or witkowski and i don't intend ever doing so.

Actually I am looking forward to ordering Leslie Kean's book tomorrow - heard great things and i was thinking of getting a vintage UFO book if available. Maybe a Keyhoe book or Gray Barker. I wanna see how things were viewed in the 60's.

Oh I understand that it's not your prank, but these people will unknowingly be spreading this hoax on them, as a true encounter to them, thus adding to the "noise" and not to the "signal" that every one here claims they seek to amplify and focus on.
Thus the myth grows, and the facts are obscured, and should the truth become known then the skeptics and the debunkers will lump all the true experiences together with the prank and say "See there's nothing to it!"
And so the noise grows on, and so, and so so on.:(

Look for Clear Intent by Fawcett, Lawrence and Greenwood.
 
Clear Intent appears to be out of print. But, there is a copy on Amazon for around $12 used. Funny, another seller wants around $188 for it. Weird how that works. I'm tempted to get the used book but I hate to pay 12 bucks for a used paperback. I keep hoping they will all be converted to ebooks one of these days.

I got my copy from eBay. Its is an old library book that was checked out a handful of times. I sure didn't pay $188 for it! I've had it for a while but I just started it this weekend.
 
You're either blessed or cursed. How does it feel to be 'special' regarding all these sightings you had ? I'll come clean and say I don't believe (which is subjective, of course) all that much of it.

'Subjective'. Elmo scared me too.

Maybe "special" isn't the best word to use. It might stir up negative childhood memories. ;-)

I've always wondered how these things function without being grounded. It would seem you would need a nice ground wire leading to a meter or so of metal rod driven into the earth to be effective. The complications that could arise from that configuration might be worse than having your mind read by aliens though.

With no ground it works as a really good reflector or antenna and a really good way to concentrate those beams into the brain. I have always wondered why the hell people think this would work?

Actually I have a love hate thing going with puppets.
I love puppet shows marionettes, ventriloquist, and eww sock puppets they just scare the hell out of me.
As for dolls my brothers and I were doll serial killers, my sisters dolls all lost their heads and limbs with in their first week, and as for poor Chatty Cathy she did not last a day.
Now as for feeling blessed or cursed both and neither, I think "picked on" is a better phrase.
I like the fact that I have been shown a wider view of this universe we share, but hate the fact that for the most part its like when you become aware of them they become aware of you.
Hell I am now sixty plus years old and can't sleep in a darkened room.
I hate being scared shitless because I hear a bump in the next room or see or hear something out side my bedroom door or at my window.
There is a lot more that comes with this phenomena you have to deal with free standing silhouettes, or what my mother called Quick shadows, and Grey shadows,
these damned things can show up any where any place without warning,
Then there is the Visitational and the damned destructive poltergeist activity.
As it stands now I don't go to bed until it is near sunrise, admittedly though I am not sure if it is more for fear of these things or that since my amputation I'm afraid if there is a fire in this rat hole I live in and the lights go out I may not be able to get my damned prosthesis leg on in time to get out or both either way I'm going to haul ass.

But the fact is I would not wish this on anybody.
If there was a pill to take to end this crap I and most Experiencers would be first in line for it.
I've been psychoanalyzed.
I was taken by Phil Lord of MUFONNYC to see a Psychotherapist a Jann Duval C.S.W.
The first visit she asked me about my life as a child and I told her that my father was an alcoholic and sometimes very abusive and that I once headed a band, and that I worked fifteen years at the first and only job I had after I graduated high school.
I had three years of Business law, and one of computer programing and that it all ended when I was disabled by the job.
She taped every session, as did Phil Lord I did not mind this as I was looking for answers and thinking maybe they could give them to me.
The second session I spoke about my life and Phobia of darkened windows and finally about my encounters as much of them as I could get in what remained of the hour or so allowed me at the end of which she started to tell me more or less that she thought that my belief that I had been abducted was brought on by the fact that I had such an interesting life with my band and because I got hurt and could no longer do as I use to I was fantasizing this whole thing, were upon I stopped her and handed her a short tape of my UFO sightings and abduction site then told her to take it home and look at it.
She did and when I walked in there the next time she was ready to do a book on me.
They she and Phil both turned on their tapes and after testing them to see if they were working they set them to taped my encounters.
When I came back the next week for the last of my free sessions I asked if I could have a copy of my tape from the week before.
Jann got a strange look on her face and said to Phil,
"Phil you know something that tape I did last week was empty when I went to listen to it could I get a copy of yours?"
Phil gave that wonderful big smile of his and said,
"Jann I was just going to ask the same thing of you my tape was empty too."
Nonts? Aliens? Ghost? Dijon? Grand Intervention?
Who the hell knows?.
