Please, for the last time, show me something that is from a legitimate source (i.e NOT INFOWARS or a similar bullshit source) showing that the science about global warming is wrong. You should read something that isn't an echo chamber - start here: Journal home : Nature Climate Change

There are other peer reviewed journals as well, but my prediction is that you think they are somehow part of the conspiracy because that is how your mind works. You boast that you've done all this research, when you've in fact you've just reassured yourself by looking at sources that just say what you want to hear.
Look at actual the actual science, and you'll see it's self correcting, as scientists are trying to see if they can come to more accurate conclusions. Undoubtedly you'll mention the "climategate" bullshit, in which a great deal was made about nothing. Investigations were done, and it was overblown by people looking for a way to distract from the real science.
The truth is pixelsmith, that you rely on hyperbole and grandiose statements to obfuscate the truth of the matter. You're completely wrong about the science and you're clinging to what is contrary just so that you can stand out. Your lack of science education is obvious and your belief that you have all the answers is baffling to me.
Just like your argument that hydro electric power was not cleaner than burning fossil fuels, you are completely off base here as well. Yes, trucks were used to build the hydro plant, and those trucks use gas, and they're the same equipment used to build fossil fuel run plants - after they are built, which types of plants are cleaner? If you don't answer the hydro electric plant, we'll all know how deluded you really are.

Arguing this topic with you feels wrong, since you always seem to give up once you realize you have nowhere left to go past typing in CAPS and exaggerating. Oh yeah, and then you call a particular climate scientist a eugenics proponent and take quotes out of context. Past that, you have nothing. Anyway, keep going, because I always like to see where you take it next.

I am a DOOM universalist in this regard. All DOOM scenarios are equal as they all end up in our DOOM and are therefore equal.

Finally, that's all I was asking for. I see that two of the links are for the Exxon/Mobile funded libertarian think tank, the CATO institute. Political and economic, no? And I see that you're also harping on the "climate gate" stuff. Fine.

Obviously, you don't read my full posts, because I have said many times that An Inconvenient Truth, although entertaining, is alarmist and inaccurate. It's also politically driven, which makes it useless when it comes to the science.

Everything you said about the links I provided can be said about the links you provided. Where does that leave us?

I'll say this:

Global Warming or whatever you want to call it is extremely complicated. It's a topic that has two extremes. one being the tree hugging alarmist Greenpeace type people that embellish and twist the science to make it seem MUCH worse than it is. And then there are the people like you, that think there is absolutely nothing going on and make ridiculous statements like MORE pollution is better for everyone.

I find myself in the middle, getting into arguments with hardcore environmentalists, and on the other side, people like you. It kind of sucks when you leave politics, emotion, and stupidity out of the equation and everyone thinks you're crazy.

Hopefully one day you'll leave your emotions out of it and look at actual info. Think what you will of my opinion, but as someone that was skeptical of Global Warming 8 or 9 years ago, I've come around to do my best to leave the politics and emotions out of it. It's hard sometimes, but I am doing my best.
I'm hoping you won't mis-read what I have written and good luck getting your political leanings and emotions out of the argument. I think I have, but I could be wrong.

Agreed. The politicization of our inevitable self eradication is criminal. We have people wanting us to piss our pants over something like that while allowing the nuclear regulatory commission to poison us and our grandchildren's grandchildren.
