The bible tells us to kill those who worship other religions. I doubt it has anything to do with religion tho...

Onward Christian Soldiers!!! Kill the bass turds!
Ok, let's look at the true essence of the B.S. here:
1.
Pixel: You must kill those who worship another god. Exodus 22:20
Answer: Doesn't say that...it states in the original: He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed. This in no way tells anyone too kill for the sake of those who worship another God. If anything it infers God will kill and no other.
2.
Pixel: Kill any friends or family that worship a god that is different than your own. Deuteronomy 13:6-10
This in no way stated we should kill anyone today Pixel. It was stated by Moses who cautioned against the peril that might arise from the Canaanites, and within the suffering that they were forced to be a part of because of their leaving Egypt. The idea was to protect those who followed him by defending against those that would look to do them harm. This has NOTHING to do with today's Christianity whatsoever...sorry.
3.
Kill everyone who has religious views that are different than your own. Deuteronomy 17:2-7
This was Mosaic Law (meaning it was written under Moses) and once again meant as a protection against those from the Canaanites who looked to infiltrate their clans. When Christ came his followers continued to use the Hebrew Scriptures to highlight prophecies that were yet to be fulfilled, principles from the Mosaic Law that taught valuable lessons, and accounts of ancient servants of God whose fine examples encourage Christians to remain faithful. The laws written in the Mosaic context were "overridden" by Jesus's examples of "loving thy enemy", "turning the other cheek", and many other examples of his pacifistic ways. You cannot take old laws written as a story in an example for the followers of Moses out of Egypt and state that all Christians must follow thus today! It's Bullshit and you know it.
4.
Kill anyone who refuses to listen to a priest. Deuteronomy 17:12-13 and Kill any false prophets. Deuteronomy 18:20
Once again, protective and desperate "Mosaic" laws which became irrelevant after Christ came down to teach the sincerity of the New Testament. Every example Christ taught his disciples was based on love, peace and pacifism. Anyone even questioning this has no clue as to the historical nature of Christ, the New versus Old testament, or why Christ came to redeem our sins in the first place. It's just another anti Christian game played to make people believe that somehow Christ and his followers are not what they seem.
5.
Any city that doesn’t receive the followers of Jesus will be destroyed in a manner even more savage than that of Sodom and Gomorrah. Mark 6:11
Here again is the real word of the Lord according to direct interpretation from Hebrew into Latin:
Mark 6:11 (King James Version)
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Now as you clearly see, it was told to the Apostles that if the people in the city wouldn't hear what they had to say about the true Christ, then they were to leave and shake off the dust from under their feet in a symbolic gesture of ignorance....not to kill them or have anything more to do with them. GOD will take care of it like he did in Sodom and Gomorrah. GOD and his judgement on the day of judgement and not left up to the followers of the Risen Christ to do anything at all.
6. Jude reminds us that God destroys those who don’t believe in him. Jude 5
The actual verse:
Jude 1:5 (King James Version)
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Notice the word "LORD" and not the followers of Christ to do anything.
Jesus taught those who truly wished to follow his words to be peaceful, loving, humble and without doubt, pacifistic in all ways but in the laws they must adhere to according to the state they live within....as in..... "Render onto Ceaser what is Ceaser's and Render onto God what is Gods" meant that even though we are to love thyne enemies, we are also to follow the laws of the land and KILL the enemy if he be an enemy and commanded to do so by the state.
Please get it correct next time you choose to attempt to make the Christian faith out to be some hate filled religion. If one truly follows the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, one is ALWAYS the exact opposite than a hate filled person, evil doer, or a murderer. Anything less (and unforgiven by the Redeemer) will be severely judged by the Lord upon judgment day.
