BTW. I'm one of the few who don't ( well sort of anyway ). My avatar is our real interest group logo and by following the links to the site anyone can figure out who I am easily. No shame here and nothing to hide. But it has caused me problems when some people over on the JREF forum attacked me using libelous words designed to get search engines to link the two. That resulted in me having to contact the JREF administration ( not just the forum admins ). Since then the forum appears to have dissociated from the JRE Foundation, and probably for the best. Their cyber bullying could have seriously compromised their community outreach efforts, particularly where schools are concerned.
 
If you don't like the lay of the land on the Paracast forum, move on. It's just that simple. The rules are fairly flexible as to what you can say here. If a staff member tells you to desist and you repeatedly ignore the warning, don't be shocked if you get a vacation.

Go to another paranormal forum if you can't make yourself shut up. What's so hard about that? Finally, to send someone to be your mouthpiece while you are banned is about as bogus as it comes.
 
Ultimately for me, it comes down to credibility. Ray loves to tout his credibly with his dino bones. He loves to point to the fact mainstream academia has taken note of his submitted fossils and rewarded him with a place in a museum. This is fantastic. I think we all want Ray to approach his UFO evidence like his dino bones, rather than taking an approach closer to what we saw with the peddlers of the Roswell Slides. Ray has credibility with established institutions by virtue of bone discoveries, but has nothing comparable with his UFO research. Yet, he still claims he wants to get to the bottom of various cases and prove he was right about the Zamora case. If he really wanted to be vindicated, rather than cry, with tears streaming down his face, while he and an unknown film maker looked at sketches of a symbol, why not release the photo showing the actual craft with the landing gears. Why not release the footage of a saucer shooting a plasma beam at him? If Ray really wanted to further this subject matter, the right evidence needs to go to the right people, just like was the case with his dino bones. Had Ray only showed his bone evidence to a few fringe people standing in his living room, no one would have ever taken notice of his work. Similarly, if Ray is to ever seriously contribute to this field in a meaningful way, he needs to release his evidence.

Now if Ray seeks anonymity, and wants this evidence available to only himself and a few devotees, than I suggest he stop engaging people on this topic, he should stop going on podcasts, beating his chest about how superior his evidence is and arguing everyone else has it wrong (refer to his rude interaction with Walter Bosely, where Ray claimed to know more about AFOSI, than one of their actual agents).

Many of you want to worship Ray and claim he is this ground breaking researcher who has evidence that would break this field wide open. If so, why not share that information and evidence with Torme and Fox, why not have it be the integral part of their fairly well-funded documentary? Like Greer why not turn this evidence over to Stanford University and have them participate in Fox's film and give definite conclusions. Doctors from Stanford University were happy to appear in Greer's documentary, so academia is actually more open minded about that than many people try and suggest. This didn't happen, Torme said "we walked away with virtually nothing."

In the end, I think we are best left with examining the words of Tracy Torme, "like so much UFO evidence, I doubt we will ever see anything from Stanford, in fact I am not sure any of it exists at all" If Ray and other's disagree... they know where to submit their evidence and how to prove critics wrong. Ray has successfully done so with Dino bones, so I am confident he could figure it out with this films and photos. If that isn't something he wants to do, then please shut up. Stop appearing on podcasts and talking about it. That is simply the Roswell Slide methodology, i.e., hype your evidence, insulate it from intelligent and credible minds, show it to a select "chosen" few, and maintain everyone else is wrong and only you actually have the right answers.

Until I see a reputable agency or university give a thought provoking conclusion of Ray's evidence, it is meaningless to me and probably not worth discussing any further.

I would have to concur that this thread has devolved into nothing but back-and-forth snark, with people taking sides and it should probably be put out of its misery. IMO, I don't think there are any more "revelations" to be had here. Please save us from ourselves!

The site info may be delayed due to the fact that we want the quality of what is posted to be as good as possible. Ray has the final say on his material. As an example we want to post the never seen Hynek interview but we need to clean up the background noise of vehicles passing by the interview site.
 
We also are converting all footage to digital and that takes time and money out of our pocket. Our goal is to release all of the data for free and peer review. Tony and I will not have any monetary gain or goals we just want this all to see the light of day. Everyone will have to be patient.

Please ask Ray if you can scan/copy his Fate Magazine articles he authored that were published in the 1950's and 60's. He wrote one article that was published by Fate perhaps in 1955 about his ESP/UFO experiment he did in about 1954 on the beach with many witnesses that attracted a UFO.

Any other articles he wrote that were published in any magazine during those years would be fascinating to read.

One article of Ray's is in the May 1956 Issue of Fate Magazine. I'm sure Ray has a copy of the article he wrote, or you could digital photo or scan it from that issue. It made the Front Cover of that issue titled Texas Saucer Contact...
 
We will ask when we see him next weekend. Ray has so many treasures like old magazines, correspondence, papers, pictures from the 1950's on. The problem is finding them. He has tapes and movies he filmed once and never watched again. It is a daunting task to first get him to show us and second to get them copied in a modern format. But we are trying hard to wade through it all. His house is no different from a museum just without a system that details everythings location.

Man, I guy gets busy at work and at home for a few weeks and misses all this! Wow. I've gotten into some back and forth with Ray directly several times in this forum, but it never devolved into this type of mess. My stance with Ray remains the same, I'll believe it when I see it. However, Chris isn't an idiot (even though we disagree on a lot), so if he has faith in Ray, it does mean something.

True, but then again Chris buys Walton's story, so although I can't say enough good stuff about Chris' own work, I'm not so sure he doesn't have a few blind spots ( like anyone else I suppose including me ).
