This is funny for me not only because of the hairdryer gag, but the loss of stadium power has happened to me during a show. We lost all power except for the emergency lights and exit signs.
It happens because the main power for the shows is tied into the fire alarm system, so trip that and everything turns off and in our case there was a small fire in a corporate box oven .. some dip sh*t left the pies in a little to long and they burned and the smoke alarms went off.

True story.

Anyway watch the video and look to the bottom left, you see the transformer go bang.
Not a quick fix lol.

Ok warning this contains harsh language.. this is Carlin in full flight so you have been warned not to watch if you get offended easy.

That out of the way this is funny as hell.

 
It's a good sentiment, though many editors dislike the Oxford comma. There should also be a colon rather than a period at the end of that first sentence. Still, how often can we find humor in punctuation guidelines?
