No, you haven't. You've proved nothing, not a thing. You have no grasp of facts whatever, or pretend not to, and if you don't stop trolling and pay attention to what people tell you, I might have to give you a timeout to consider your options.

I'm not asking you to agree. I'm asking you to stop telling falsehoods about people to our readers, and actually read the material shown to you.

Genes favorite way to stifle opposition is to ban or give time outs. Pathetic.

If someone is just trolling for trouble, wasting time, constantly repeating the same talking points and pleading ignorance of anything on the other side, not even to address specifics, I will give them timeouts sometimes. It's not about stifling opposition, but to quiet people who aren't here to participate in a regular discussion. You should understand.

But then if on a micro scale a local level dealing directly with the consequences of overpopulation and pollution they cant solve the local problem, how could we fix it globally.
Look at the Adani mine as an example, that coal will make it even worse in india, but the pristine beaches and skys of surfers paradise wont be effected
Because math is math and in a closed system, an improvement anywhere is an improvement for all.

I, too, when I got back from India said to my friends and family that anything Canada will ever do won't matter because the scale of the climate and pollution crisis there is unthinkable.

And then I remembered that every individual in Canada actually pollutes more and releases more carbon than each person in India.

Bedsides. We have the luxury of change. They don't.

If you want to see what your lost manufacturing and mining jobs are going to become and make of your country if you get them back, go to India.

Before India & Pakistan, annihilate each other, anyway.
Not going to happen.

People don't realize two things:
1. Both countries are busy tearing themselves apparent through internal strife you don't hear a lot about. When women get more power in both countries (and they will), there's gonna be hell to pay.
2. They are actually both pacifists.

Hell, I went through inumerable pat downs and metal detectors etc by guys in assault rifles.

By the third day I realized they either were so old and rusted they didn't work, or they were fakes.

So I asked one of my bodyguards. They told me that Indians find weapons offensive, so they are mostly just for show.

You're probably correct, but they should have never been allowed to possess nukes.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone discovered that their nuclear ICBM's were instead filled with Cheetos Cheese Puffs, as they rain down upon our glorious planet.

Hillary may have been many things. But she is a statesman and would have continued America's sense of gravitas worldwide. You no longer have that. You have a rapey clown as your leader
I used to think that the bad rap that Americans get wasn't fair because it always seems to be the government that is the cause and that the regular folks are as much victims of that as the rest of the world. But in this case, no matter which way the economy or the environment, or whatever the case may be goes, it doesn't change the fact that because so many American people voted for Trump, his persona resonates with a huge portion of the people, and I find that very disheartening and disturbing, to the point where I no longer trust my American neighbors the way I did before, and this is very sad for me.

This goes back to the beginning. One of the political parties in the U.S. believes that "government is the problem." So they want to starve the beast with lower funding, fewer employees, and thus make it less efficient. It becomes the self-fulfilling prophecy. When one political party got together at the beginning of the administration of the President from the other party, and decided to obstruct virtually everything he wanted to make him a one-term president, that also helped make the public disenchanted with the system. So, of course, they threw out the wrong party, and voted against the establishment person who represented the party that wanted to get positive things done.

It wouldn't be the first time voters went against their self-interest because they were mislead as to what was going on by the loudest and most repetitive voice that appealed to their fears.

You are right it is a closed system, and Humans are addicted to exponential growth

There is no improvement, earth overshoot day occurs earlier every year.
Population increases, consumption increases, exponential growth........

So why should Trump care about climate change when Australia will singlehandedly ruin the Paris accords with its coal mines ?

Like a meth addict covered in sores, China and india choke on their air, but they dont fix it.
Not only do their populations increase, but the individual lifestyles embrace more consumption Its a double whammy of environmental distaster

This is the very worst of the US, as an ardent fan of Donald's and the author of "In Trump We Trust" .. Ann Coulter.

Coulter: Canada is "lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent"; Carlson: "Without the U.S., Canada is essentially Honduras"
Lol.

Is Honduras part of the G8? Does it's armed forces play a peacekeeping role worldwide? Has it ever been "the best place in the world to live?"

how many Americans do I see traveling the world pretending to be Canadians? Lots. How many Canadians pretend to be Americans? None.

Maybe we should rejoin the U.K. and take a run at the White House again.

I would argue it's everybody that's gotta fix it.

Remember that India and China are going through their industrial revolution just like we did. And they're doing it using our technology and trying to live up to our standard of living. And they're doing it because we buy their stuff.

So we in the west have a role and obligation in their improvement.

And it's also why I get so pissed at ray Stanford.

If he has 10% of what he claims to have, we could use knowledge of UFO propulsion to move heavy industry off this rock and get at power sources like HE3. Or run nukes in space.

If he's telling the truth, which I do not believe, he is committting a crime against humanity to stroke his own ego.
