Yes I know its easy to say and hard to do but the power of the people is much larger than the rich few.... if only they were not so distracted.
And stop consuming fluoride.

Fluoride is the only drug/toxic waste I know of that is not approved by the FDA and is put in nearly everything we consume with no oversight. no prescription, no controlled dosage, no consideration of sensitivities or individual reactions to it. What other drug is allowed to be consumed with no oversight? If I took a bag of fluoride and dumped it in the river I would be arrested, BUT I can put that SAME bag into a city water source and it is legal, actually REQUIRED by the state.

Isn't fluoride in toothpaste to whiten teeth and prevent tooth decay? Is that their reasoning for putting it in city water...to promote dental health in the general population?

look at your toothpaste tube and read the warning. if you swallow it call poison control. it can be argued that it is good for teeth but only via topical application not ingesting. What government gives a s#it about your teeth?

Well, I may be insanely optimistic and naive, but I'm thinking our government? If, for nothing else, to have a healthy population....keeps insurance claims down and keeps us serfs working more efficiently. It's the same reasoning why a cattle rancher cares about the health of his cows before leading them to slaughter...no one wants to eat bad beef. Sick horses don't work nearly as well as healthy ones, too. Just-sayin'.

As far as the poison-producing fluoride, yeah, I can see your point, there, though perhaps it has to do with dosage? Maybe the amount of fluoride in the toothpaste can prove harmful if taken in too great a quantity. How much exposure are we getting to it in city water and such?

Jeff, indeed you are insanely naive like a good share of the population...up to 4 ppm is allowed. "optimum dose" is .7 ppm. what dose of a highly toxic by-product of the aluminum industry collected from pollution scrubbers and dumped into your city water supply are you comfortable with? it is also an active ingredient in mood altering drugs such as P a x i l.

Why is p a x i l a banned word here?

Anyone know why I can type fuck and not paxi l?

testing prozac... edit...yup i can type prozac

Spam blockers. We have a built in dictionary of words that cannot be used, because they turn up in message spam. But since you're into Paxil, I have removed thats word from the block list. :)

Well, we only banned it recently because we were getting more forum spam than before. But those fools tend to use lots of words in their posts, so restoring one or two won't hurt. I hope.

Aw well. Maybe it acts like a preservative, too, hence why our average life-span continues to increase. What can ya do?

The longer big pharma can keep you alive the more money they make. I am surprised people are so accepting of their children and loved ones consuming rat poison in nearly everything they eat or drink.

This is the main reason why I started to grow my own vegetables and fruit.... I know what is in the soil (to a certain degree), and I know it is fresh and chemical free.
Not eaten McDonald's etc in many many years and wont ever again.

The one, indisputable reason I KNOW the economy won't collapse? ... Hostess came back. Clearly a sign of an upturn.

Sad as it may sound I have to in part agree that it won't totally collapse. What I see happening is the gap between the poor and the extremely wealthy will get wider and wider.
The problem with this is at which point do those on the bottom finally get so pissed off that they force change?

Going to add to my above post by saying this.
The changes to your freedoms and what amounts to the frame work of a police state are no coincidence when it comes to the ever increasing gap between those that have and those that do not.

I disagree about the police state. Not nearly enough enforcement yet.

Yet being the operative word :p

The problem with such security apparatus is not how it is being used now but how will it be used in 5, 10, or even 20 years down the track.
While I agree that internal security is needed for any state to function it is the limits and oversight of such that concerns me.
